Biloxi/Charleston at River Plantation Country Club

Staff was friendly and got us off very smoothly. Course is an old time lay out ( which I like), lots of trees and some what narrow, but not unfair. Greens were pretty good but had many bare spots. Bunkers were OK but the sand hwas quite wet & heavy. TEES were fine but a little uneven. Fairways were in good shape, bu a lot of branches and grass trimmings on 1st & 2nd cuts. Cart paths need repair on a lot of holes. However, our over,,all experience was quite favorable.

The course is in great shape. Heavy rains the previous day left the fairways wet in spots but balls never plugged and still got moderate run out. Greens are in good shape and moderately fast.

This course is in generally good shape. The fairways and greens vary depending on the hole. Some were excellent, some were just so so. It is winter time, so that is to be expected to a degree. Pace of play was good and the weather was wonderful. The carts are in need of replacement and it took to find one that would get around 18 holes. Overall, a nice golfing experience.

A lot of the greens were sand and I'm sure they will be fine in the summer but putting on sand is a major bummer and they should have discounted the round.

Played the Biloxi and Agusta courses. Greens were pretty fast even though some of them had been fertilized and some had sand on them. Fairways were a little hard in spots even with the recent rains.

First time to play was a very good experience and will play again in the future.

Greens were great for RP. Fairways just decent. Since the fairways are incredibly tight, the fairways should be less bare in areas. Also, one of the holes had a ton of trash off of the right side of the fairway. Will just spend the extra $20 and play Woodforest which is closer and impeccable compared to RP.

Course was in pretty good shape for this time of year, greens rolled true and fairways and tee boxes were in pretty good shape. Driving range was closed. Chipping area needed work. The staff is what stuck out in my mind as a turn off. Bar area staff was rude and closing earlier than hours posted proshop staff seemed very uncaring and by friendly.

This is a nice older course in a residentail community. Fairly narrow with some water which adds to the challenge. The greens were in great shape and overall the course is fair.

3 9 hole layouts.Keeps the pace of play going while accommodateing lots of golfers. Course is well maintained. Challenging, but not so difficult that the average golfer would struggle. Practice area OK. Had to hit off mats which I'm not crazy about. I would recommend this course to everyone.

The course is in great shape and the greens are very fast. The layout is challenging and the weather is ideal.

River Plantation is an average course and is not a manicured as much as I prefer. It appears to have been a victim of flooding as there are still several wet areas. Overall experience was average but have played here when conditions were better and enjoyed it.

From the moment I walked into the pro shop I was treated with welcome arms staff was very professional and friendly first time playing the course and I must admit( it was awesome ) green's rolling true at least 10 and a half on the Stimpmeter ; fairways were tight & we'll maintained, course has some nice appeal to it you cannot use driver on most par-fives they require strategic first and second shots as well as a great approach shot on the Charleston Course but I will definitely be back and once you play it so will you

Lovely place to golf, bit challenging but greens were almost perfect your ball will roll forever.
