Waskesiu Golf Course

Greens were awful and the sand traps were not raked. I am sick of paying so much for courses that are not taken care of. I understand that the greens had winter kill, but why charge full prices when some greens are now half the size. Also, why weren't the sand traps raked on Monday. I also golfed the course on the weekend and the tee boxes were as long as the rough. Very disappointed.

Love this course layout. Have played it many times over past 35 years. This year greens are a bit rough but are usually very good. Wildlife and scenery well make up for any deficiences.

This is not your prairie golf course. Elevation changes, boreal forest, Waskesiu Lake, and elk on the course makes this a great golf experience for any golfer. The family set of tees makes it friendly for the whole family. I'd recommend this course to golfers at any level.

It was a busy day on the course. The fresh baked goods at the snack shack were delicious and we had a friendly visit with spectators enjoying their coffee. It was breezy and almost a bug free experience, Plan your tee shot on 18 to avoid the &water hazard.

As we arrived at the course elk were visible near practice facility and number one tee box. Shout out to the friendly staff Ray the starter and the team in the pro shop. We enjoyed a nice meal on the deck after our round. Thanks for a great round!

We had a great experience at the course and enjoyed the challenge this course provided. Only issue was the greens that seemed to take a big hit from the wnter and surprised they were not doing more or warned you of the conditions. We would love to play again when course is in top shape.

Tree lined fairways, great layout. Very fun to play, you gotta try it!!!

A shortish course for long hitters. But it definitely makes up for it with blind shots, elevation changes and undulating greens. The natural views and the wildlife you encounter are second to none. Well worth the drive up to Waskesiu National Park.

Have played this course since I was a little kid. One of the most talked about courses in Sask. Every hole feels private as you are surrounded on all sides by forest. Greens were in excellent shape even the notoriously bad 8th.

We had a great day. The course was in great condition. Everyone was friendly. We joined up with a nice couple, and we enjoyed their company and the golfing. I even golfed better than usual.

A Stanley Thompson design that was carved through boreal forest and situated just a 5 or 6 iron from the shores of Waskesiu Lake. A storied course dating back to 1935 makes it one of the oldest courses in western Canada. With blind shots, elevation changes, quick greens, doglegs left and right, water carries and well thought out bunker placement, Waskesiu GC is a fair test for every level of golfer.

Great tree lined lake course. It's fun to play for anyone.
