Blue is Better
We really enjoyed playing on the blue course a few weeks ago. The red course however, was disappointing. Grass was too long. Cart paths are rock with many ruts and just a rough ride. Layout of the holes is not enjoyable and it seems like the whole place was just cut out of a weed ridden swamp. Stay on the blue. The staff there is great and we will give the white a try in the future and play the blue again.
Red and Blue are Trash, ONLY ever play White
Red and blue are clearly not being tended to. Many greens were riddled with mower tracks, large holes, dead sports, or just straight sand. I can’t believe they’re actually charging people to play those two courses. They sold out to a developer for houses and tried to convert a couple holes to two holes and it’s a weird layout and the changes clearly were not planned out for maintenance. I’ve played the white course several times and it’s immaculate compared to the trash red and blue courses. I’ll likely not golf here again unless I’m guaranteed the white course. Only downfall on the white course is that there’s no amenities on the turn. You’re out in the middle of now where and hardly ever see the cart girl, bathrooms are few and far between and it’s just kind of disjointed. I’m guessing it won’t be long and it’ll be shutdown for more neighborhood development.
Course was very well maintained! Some greens need work, nonetheless, beautiful!
Goat Ranch
The course is in terrible shape. The word must be out because it was fast playing on a Sunday morning. I won’t go back.
Slow play
With the red course under construction the white course is the less desirable 18 holes. Plenty of cart girls but no ranger to keep the pace up
Always a good time
Course was in exceptional shape considering how much rain we’ve gotten lately. Fairways were smooth, greens were exceptional and little to no standing water anywhere! My only complaint (and it’s the same every time) is not having amenities between 9 &10 on the white course. By that I mean a bathroom (or porta) and maybe a stationary beer cart to catch everyone on their turn. The cart girl though did swing by 4-5 times so I guess I can’t complain too much. Overall one of my favorite courses to play.
Beautiful course
This course is a gem. Great layout. Good for levels to play. Highly recommend playing this course. We did play in the rain but other than a few holes that it rained on us, we had a great round.
White Course
The course has a fun layout with a good mix of an open layout with a few tight fairways mixed in. Course was in pretty good shape but there were a couple spots on greens that were a little rough. The clubhouse is not close for turn from the front to back nine so make sure you have the drinks/snacks you want when you start the round, but there was a beverage cart out after we made the turn so it might not be an issue if you're staying late in the day.
Classic
Course is in decent shape, cart girl came around a decent amount which was nice. Staff was relatively friendly. Clubhouse had decent prices on drinks but no club repair or proshop.
The Walmart of Lincoln courses
The price was right. Got a hot deal for 2 players and a cart for $70. Probably the cheapest course in town at that price. However, you kinda get what you pay for. Sand traps in relative disrepair, goose crap all over the greens. Fairways were ok. The course layout is rough. You gotta drive all over the place to get to the next hole. The only redeeming thing is it’s well marked along the way which way to go. I thought they scheduled people too close together too. Made for anxious golfing with people right on your butt the whole time. Also this is a very narrow course with a lot of water hazards. Plan on losing balls. I probably went through a dozen. Staff were polite and helpful. All that to say I probably won’t play here again unless I’m on a tight budget. Too many city courses in much better shape for just a little more coin
Fun place to blast around
Fun times just hitting shots with my son. The new side was cool to play, generally short holes with a few stupid long one’s (475 par 4 from the back tees) especially into the prevailing wind. Wish I could have also played the other nines but had to spilt. Light golfer traffic, we had it all to ourselves. Check in, drink cart service were excellent.
Traveling through
This was a great course. Upkeep was great, staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely golf again
