The Walmart of Lincoln courses
The price was right. Got a hot deal for 2 players and a cart for $70. Probably the cheapest course in town at that price. However, you kinda get what you pay for. Sand traps in relative disrepair, goose crap all over the greens. Fairways were ok. The course layout is rough. You gotta drive all over the place to get to the next hole. The only redeeming thing is it’s well marked along the way which way to go. I thought they scheduled people too close together too. Made for anxious golfing with people right on your butt the whole time. Also this is a very narrow course with a lot of water hazards. Plan on losing balls. I probably went through a dozen. Staff were polite and helpful. All that to say I probably won’t play here again unless I’m on a tight budget. Too many city courses in much better shape for just a little more coin
Course was packed, there were 6 players in two different groups that really held things up.
Fun place to blast around
Fun times just hitting shots with my son. The new side was cool to play, generally short holes with a few stupid long one’s (475 par 4 from the back tees) especially into the prevailing wind. Wish I could have also played the other nines but had to spilt. Light golfer traffic, we had it all to ourselves. Check in, drink cart service were excellent.
Traveling through
This was a great course. Upkeep was great, staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely golf again
Has 36 holes
Good course to come back and play with 36 holes to choose from. Greens are normally slow, fairways are in good shape, tee boxes are decent, new carts this year that are way better than the old junkers. Staff has always been super friendly and never have had a bad experience playing here besides not strict rules on which courses people book and on busy days any of the three courses can get pretty backed up.
Fun course
The course is a nice and a fun layout. We played the white course. It was in good shape considering it is March in Nebraska. The greens were super slow since they haven't been mowed since last year. That was the only downside, but that is expected for this time of year.
A golf course awkwardly stuck in between neighborhood streets
NuMark, once Himark, had 3 9 hole courses all reasonably setup, now 36 holes, the red course has the most unorthodox setup and is only 2700 or so yards even from the tips. No actual cart paths, rough tee boxes and a layout that feels more like an exec course than a full 9 hole course. They really shouldn't charge the same rate for the red course as they do for blue or white, which in theory the white is 18 only but they will let you play 9 if you ask nicely. The only good thing about the red is that you'll rarely have much wait time as most people will opt for white or blue.
White Course is a Pasture
Revamping the course was HUGE mistake….(but SHOW ME THE MONEY). Layout is horrible. They are using old green for new holes. Lots of blind shots. The ‘white’ course, mostly east of 98th Street looks like they TRIED to put a course on a PASTURE. This course was best laid out when it was 18 holes. THOSE holes are the best on the course.
The clubhouse is the third in about 25 years. Yep, moved and or demolished the others in the name of more streets and homes. I won’t go back.
