Wolfridge Golf Course

We play a variety of courses both in this area, around the state and often in other states as well. This course is not well maintained (huge weeds in sand traps for example) and poorly laid out. The tee boxes are not all groomed. Some of the holes are ridiculous for an average golfer (hole 2 on the red course as an example).

We left after six holes and will not be back.

This course only one positive, there is nobody there. Rightfully so, I will never be golfing there again. The course is an absolute maze, me and my partner got lost looking for a whole. The owner began to curse us out about damaging the cart, claiming it may be broken and threatened us with a $9,000 charge for a perfectly fine cart. The course conditions were awful. Tore up fairways that were bone dry, this course looks like it is managed by a group of 5th graders. Sprinklers on almost every green and raised cups that will have you lipping out all day. Can’t say it any better than don’t waste your time and money on this course.

We thoughly enjoyed our time at Wolfgridge Golf Course and will be coming back every chance we get. The course is in excellent condition and is very well maintained. Be ready to play some of your best golf because it is a challenge. You must make good, smart golf shots. As with any reversible course the first time you play it it can be a tiny bit confusing but just ask the staff or any of the other golfers and they are very willing to help you. Once you are on your way off the first tee for that day it is a breeze. The setting of the course in the North Woods of Minnesota is truly relaxing and refreshing. You are in Wolf country! A perfect place to play when you want to take a break from the cabin or fishing.
