Greens need work

Par 3 greens were okay, the rest were not. We finally said if within the flag stick, it’s good bc of conditions. I know everyone is dry, but that’s more problems than no water. The pace of play was good for front 9, but then joe shmuck and grandpa teed off on back nine right in front of us so slowed us WAY down. It’s not beautiful enough to say “Just enjoy the course”. No Marshall either, not that it helps on other courses anyway for us. We must have a sign that says please, jump right in front of us and take your time bc I’m a lady and don’t know how to play…WRONG. Ladies usually play very fast. Do not jump in front of my husband and I, or at least offer to let us play thru when you have to drive next to the green. We play nearly everyday, least is 4X a week depending on weather and most is 7days a week, sometimes 2 courses in a day.

TAD

Staff are friendly and welcoming. Course drainage is not the best and there were many mud puddles. The green are in reasonable shape. Carts are in good shape. Would golf again

It’s not a 9 hole it’s 18 holes

So I started to come from a very old review. I get here and find out it’s 18 holes not 9 carts has GPS on them greens was good no missing grass rolled better then higher priced courses. Staff was great lots of deer. Fairways had good grass. I played gold tees one up from blues I’m a 18 handicap and shot 11 over 83 if your in the Victoria area most definitely do yourself a favor and try it out. Oh lots of trees some water BTW played 18 with one ball

Losing the magic...

Played course today and really don't feel the love there anymore. Staff was very a matter of fact about us playing. Member had own cart but we still had to pay rider fee. Greens have a long way to go to be average. More deer on course than golfers! Handful of locals think they own the course. Sad just sad... I'll pass the next time I'm asked to play there and suggest Colony Creek where ego's are less noticeable and staff is a lot more friendly.
