Quadra Island Golf Club offers a unique golfing experience that allows golfers to enjoy both ocean and mountain views. The vistas stretch across the Suti Channel and the surrounding coastal mountains. The course itself wanders across a beautiful wooded landscape that is accented with unique stone formations. Don't underestimate this nine-hole layout, it has a surprising amount of variety. You might even find that you have to use every club in your bag. Be prepared for tricky doglegs, strategically placed bunkers, and tiered landing areas. Water also comes into play, most notably on Quadra Island Golf Club's final hole. This par 3 is the signature hole, known for both its beauty and level of difficulty. From the scorecard it may seem like only a mild 190 yards, but it requires at least a 160-yard carry to clear the deep pond before the green.

Great value, challenging course
Don't kid yourself, this isn't your typical nine holer; it'sa real test. Play the tips and it's pretty difficult. I really wanted to give this four stars. A little better conditioning and perhaps another nine, and that would have been the case. With that said, though, hats off to the superintendent and his crew of one for the job they not only do maintaining the course, but improving it. This community effort really is remarkable. With only 3,000 people on the island, they figured out how to get a golf course and it's anything but disappointing.
Beautiful course
Definitly need to powercart this course unless you are in great shape its up and down all the way through. need to watch some tee shots that you dont hit through the fairways or you will never find your ball it is a little tight on some holes.
