Fairways at Lincoln

Rough is really long. Fairways are pretty rough and greens are pretty chewed up which isn’t surprising given that it is late in the year.

One thing that didn’t affect quality of play but could be easy and relatively inexpensive to fix is the tee blocks. Most of them them were rotten and the color was impossible to determine. Also, the red tees are supposed to be the front tees and the next tees back were supposed to be gold but nearly all of them were reversed. Not a huge deal but worth mentioning.

The layout of the nine holes are challenging. Older folks will need a cart. The fairways were ruddy. Not too smooth. The traps wer like cement. Off the fairway, lose your ball even in the rough. The greens were in just OK shape. Several had bad spots in them.

Such nice staff, great value… but the conditions are not great a lot weeds which doesn’t bother me much at my skill level. The bigger issue was thinking the course was meant for novice or beginners. Tight fairways and lots of chances to lose balls especially to the right.

All that being said would recommend and I will go again!

Nicely manicured 9 hole course. Greens and fairways In excellent condition. Lots of trees and an interesting layout of holes. Water comes into play on a few holes. We will play again.

Wish they would blow the leaves a little better so we can find our golf balls better

Tight course on a windy day. Greens had a number of unfixed ball marks. they let single golfers practice on the course. Had to wait several times as single golfers hit numerous shots. At one hole I counted four and another it was five shots. But it was every hold. They didn't seem to care he was holding us up nor did he offer to let us play through while he practiced. Otherwise we had an enjoyable round on Father's Day.
