Reviews
Great weather, excellent playing conditions, wonderful value, friendly staff
Pagosa Springs Golf Club delivered an outstanding golf experience.
It was my first time playing this wonderful layout. I was joined up with a grandfather/grandson twosome, very nice people.
Value was great, considering a Taylor Made club rental and my wife riding as a non-golfer.
The staff is excellent. Jim, Tom, Graham and Charles are terrific. Rene and John in the grill were wonderful.
The conditions were immaculate from tee to green. Putting surfaces are outstanding.
Pagosa Springs provides challenge, value, great staff, fabulous playing conditions, and challenge.
I highly recommend Pagosa Springs Golf Club for travelers and locals as a top course to play.
First round but won’t be the last round
This was my first experience at Pagosa Springs GC as I traveled through the area, but there will definitely be many rounds in the future as I will travel this way more often; I was pleasantly surprised when I learned there were three 9-hole courses, and the two I played were awesome, Meadows and Pinon; I was planning on stopping in for another round in my return trip, but a winter storm came through and nixed that idea; l look forward to my next trip through the area when I can play the course again; the courses were in great shape, and the staff was friendly and accommodating; the 7530’ altitude made the experience feel like home as a Colorado native, and the two brothers I was paired with made the round that much enjoyable; I recommend this course to all levels of players; it has become a destination course for me after one trip.
Not a good value for the cost
Golf paths are terrible. Dirt and rock paths that need to be upgraded. Sand traps are hard packed dirt and some sand,. They were unplayable.
Nice Place to Play in Pegosa
This is a well designed and maintained course in Pagosa; one of the few in this part of Colorado. With that said, the course is in excellent shape, offers all golfers quite the challenge and is very scenic. Given the normal rates they charge for people that are not local, consider shopping around for the best rate or play later in the day if you're on a budget. I found the greens very challenging 3 putting many given the elevation changes. Overall, I look forward to playing this again.
Goose p--p
The course was disgusting! Covered with dropings! You had to move your ball or move p--p on every hit!
Awesome Course
We always had such a good time at this golf course.
The greens and fairways are in excellent condidtion. Everything is very clean.
The staff (Troy, Mike, Don & Phillip) and Barbara at the
at the Restaurant are always friendly and professional. It's always a pleasure to talk with any of them.
I always enjoy this course
The Pagosa Springs golf course always provides a great challenge and beautiful scenery to enjoy as well.
Great challenge but slow play
27 hole course that rotates for 18
Some burnt greens
Heavy rough
Quick greens
Great mountain views
Scenic Golf
There are several scenic holes on this course and we love playing here when we come to Colorado. This year it appears that the weather may have affected their maintenance schedule as lots of weeds are present on the course and tee boxes. Overall the course is in good shape and would recommend playing if you are in the area.
Pagosa
Nice course but too pricey for a public course. Only course in area so can set whatever rates they want.
NICE MOUNTAIN COURSE
Fun course to play, Not ad condition considering the time of year. Greens are real slow but in great condition. Would play again.
Fun and Pretty course
We had a friend that knows the course with us and that helped. Pretty course and somewhat challenging. Will definitely play it again!!
Great mounain course
Great golf course that winds around the mountain and meadows. Great scenic views and elevation changes.
be patient
Use golfnow its the only way this is a bargain. Played after they punched greens, wouldn't have been too bad if they had used enough sand, but they seem to skimp. Saw no need to go back for the rest of our stay.
Pagosa springs
I would recommend course at the price we paid through golf now.com. They wanted $86/ person for 18 holes. No way is this course worth that. The course was ok, but not special. The cart paths were absolutely terrible.
Disappointing
First, we were charged wrong (not the discounted rate we booked for) and are still trying to straighten out credit card charge. Next, no cart was available, had to wait for a cart to come in off the course. Then we were told to play Pinon/Meadows, then changed to Pinon/Ponderosa, then changed back to Pinon/Meadows. Meadows was FULL of goose stuff. Cart paths poorly maintained, not graded, full of deep potholes making speed from green to tee hazardous. Fairways cut to more like first cut rough. Based on advertising and reviews, we expected a reasonably maintained course--NOT
Great value
The GOLFNOW price was a great deal for this golf course. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, I loved the pace of play (4 hours for a foursome). The sand in the bunkers leaves a lot to be desires, thank goodness there aren't many traps. Would definitely play this course again.
