Can't enjoy the round
If you like a really fast paced course than this is for you. Now I'm not saying there doesnt need to be a pace but we played 18 in 3 hours and 10 minutes. How can anyone enjoy playing at that pace! The group behind even hit me on the 18th without even a FORE!! One of the guys from the group found me in the parking lot and said "sorry if he hit you he's really old and playing one of his worse rounds normally he's a great golfer and having a bad round which is why he didnt say anything" The player even went on to say we were slowing them down which caused his bad day! This course used to be great to play at but with this insane pace of play its just not worth it. 😕
Just OK
I was excited for my first round here after hearing so many positive reviews, but unfortunately, the conditions were a bit underwhelming. The tee boxes have seen a lot of wear and tear, and the sand traps were quite hard-packed. Even for early spring, it felt like the course needed a bit more attention. I’m looking forward to seeing it in better shape later in the year.
Great Course, bad concessions
I am not the type to ever leave a review, but hopefully this can reach the right person and something can be done. I love everything about this course, and even find it insane that the crew was able to have the course in this great of condition after having snow on the ground not even a full week ago, good job grounds crew, and just about everything else at this course is amazing, besides we had a run in with an elderly lady at the concessions, I want to say she might be the manager but not sure. She was extremely rude to my group, and even her associate that she was obviously putting under a lot of pressure. She did not help the girl when she made an accident at the cash register, she just scrutinized her, and walked away. In my opinion if this is this concessions manager she should have employment else where because that’s the only place this course lacks. Thank you for keeping your course in amazing shape!
Starter macally
Best starter in the state. His personality is awesome and really is the main reason we return offen.
Great course!
Fun course! Just under $40 for 18 with the hot deals and well worth it. 3 beautiful sets of 9 with fun layouts to challenge you but still some forgiving shots. The three sets of 9 help it to not be extremely backed up. Have not had issues with pace of play. Conditions were as good as ever!
Staff
If it is not the “regular” staff then friendliness is fine. If it is the “regular” staff they never seem friendly.
Great Course
This was a great course to play. Being that it isn't close to where I live I hadn't played it before. Sure glad I decided to play it before a PGA Hope clinic. (Another great thing about this course!) The course itself was in great condition, especially considering the insane amount of rain we have had recently. Hats off to the grounds folks, they are doing fantastic work!
Good Course
First time at Legends. Played Creek and Middle 9s. The traps could use some help but other than that the course is in great condition. Everyone was very nice and the starter was great.
Shrinking Greens
First time playing the Legends in a number of years, green sizes appear to smaller than original greens as they are set back from traps and comically narrow in places. Probably need redone.
Played it on a cart path only day...not fun.
Okay course, would not go out of my way to play it again and it is a bit remote. Staff was great.
