Too expensive for the condition.
Course is in really bad shape. Would play here more often if price was lower. Very unfortunate because the course layout is phenomenal but for $45 i can play at much nicer courses.
Relaxing, some challenges… traps poor
The big convenience is that the course is easy to get onto.
The course itself is laid out well and provides some challenges. The sand traps are filled with grass and some of the greens are in less than average shape.
As long as you are looking for a convenient place to play, this course will do fine. I simply wish the greens and traps were better maintained.
Something fishy is going on here
Granted, I am a very new golfer ( a little over a year) I have never ever played a course this poorly managed, from the grass ankle high tee boxes, to the diseased fairways and greens. I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff the hotdog at the turn was one of the best I’ve had, but in no world can you charge someone 45 dollars to play at this course. Top of the line golf carts, an entire what looks like a newly remodeled bar completely empty. It was odd because if you didn’t play any golf and just walked around the clubhouse/ putting area you’d think you are in for a great day. SAVE YOUR MONEY OR GET A REFUND. I bit the bullet not wanting to deal with the hassle of getting a refund in a week but I would rather sacrifice a weekend of golf than to waste any more money playing here.
SAD
VERY SAD HOW THIS ONCE PROUD COURSE HAS FALLEN INTO DISREPAIR.
TEE BOXES WERE TERIIBLE, GREENS HAVE WEEDS GROWING ON THEM. WORST FAIRWAYS i HAVE EVER PLAYED. MOSTLY DIRT AND CRABGRASS.
Goat Ranch
Might be the worst golf course I’ve ever played. Tee time was at 8am and no one showed up to the course till about 8:30. Looks like no one’s taken care of the course in a couple years. Nothings cut. Tee boxes are overgrown, fairways are non existent, rough is 6 inches high, and bunkers aren’t even bunkers any more; just filled with weeds and grass. Do not waste your money to come play here.
Worst course I have ever played
4 cars in the parking lot in the summer was a sign. Clubhouse looked nice. An older gentleman was the only worker who was playing Garth Brooks as loud as possible. I bought a sleeve of srixon z-star ( what I play) for $17. The avid Garth Brooks fan suggested I play some TruFeels. The fairways were as thick as the rough. The greens were burnt. You need a hammer for the tee boxes. The layout has a ton of potential. I am shocked someone would own a golf course while being so indifferent to the property.
The price is rather high for the condition of the course. Would be nice to see a discount for veterans and first responders on a day of their choosing
Looks like they redid their cart paths, looks good
Prestwick
Very slow ply. They let 2 groups of 5 play and held the course up. General greens and fairways burnt. Would charge less until the course is in better shape.
Love the staff, but the course is in bad repair.
While I love the staff and brand new carts with digital maps. That is were the good parts of play here end. Starting on hole one there needed to be more rotation of the tee box or at least reseed it. Evan forbid you find yourself in a sand trap, it is more like a jungle of weeds. The green towards the edges has barren patches and weeds are now intruding into the greens. The fringe is full of weeds. The front bunker on the green on hole 7 is a litter box for the local foul population. I could go on, but this course has a great layout but needs some love and care. I enjoyed the parts that were great but that was greatly outweighed by the rest of it. Please I hate writing bad reviews, but please repair this course and it will be a gem.
Go elsewhere
My day started with the pro shop opening up right at 8AM, which was also my tee time. Another patron was also confused by this as his tee time was 8:20. Once I finally got out on the course it quickly became apparent why tee times are so readily available here. The sand traps are completely overgrown with weeds. The greens and fringes are in poor condition and rife with weeds and clover. I lined up several puts based on where a dandelion stem was. About half the tee boxes are really chewed up. A couple of the bridges feel very unsafe as well. The flags are faded and torn. But the carts are really nice! They’ve obviously put all their budget for facilities and maintenance into the carts. I won’t be going back. There are much better, and more well maintained options in the area for a comparable price.

Last minute decision
First time out this year so took the deal on Golf Now. Heard good things about the course. A little disappointed but would definitely play again. Tee boxes are in really bad shape. Greens are a little rough. Loved the layout as it winds through a nice housing addition.
What was that
A course I was dying to play since I was a kid. A great layout but they are not doing anything with the course. Got to the beautiful clubhouse and waited for 10 minutes before an older gentleman came. Then said somebody came and messed up the 17th green overnight. When I got to 17, I was expecting to see an excavator had taken out the green but I found someone took a divot or two by the hole ...something that could have easily fixed by .... Moving the hole Absolute dumpster fire
Bring a bucket of balls
Course conditions are super poor. You can hit it ion the fair way and not find it using bright red balls. There’s so much dead grass from mowing just left out that you will go through a bucket of balls without any water hazards. No restaurant or food available other than chips or a microwaved hot dog. Without a deal on golf now, the course is $40 for 18!48:8’f during the week, which is way more than anyone should play. Simply put, don’t do it.
An embarrassment to Avon
As one of the only courses in Avon I find myself coming to this course at least once a year. I try to like because of the availability and the fact it’s a minute away from my house. But if you’re in the same area don’t just don’t come here. It’s unplayable. The greens aren’t green might as well call them the browns because that’s what they are, and there’s weed growing out of them. Good luck finding your ball unless your on the brown, even then you might loose it. And tee boxes are terrible. Oh and it’s 30 dollars for 9
Don't waste your money
The course was horrible weeds everywhere even on greens! Pretty bad when you hit a ball in the fairway and because of the dandelions you cannot find it! Barely had anything to drink or eat also! Will definitely not be back ever again!
