Favorite course
Exciting course with a variety of different types of holes that encourage you to use many different shots and clubs.
Good Course and Layout
Was visiting the Des Moine area with my son and decided to play golf at this course. It had been raining but the course was in great shape. One big problem, the 3 foursomes in front of us. We knew it would be a little slower, but 5 hrs and 30 min slow. First problem group in front. 3 older and 1 younger gentlemen was in group playing from wrong tees, then they waited on tee boxes and fairways, went it was obvious they were not going to hit or hit into the group in front. All they had to do was play to their capabilities and that would have cut down on the waits on every hole.
Next group in front of them was playing a 5 some with only 2 golf bags and 2 carts, and one guy standing on the back of the cart to go from shot to shot hole to hole. No one in group was a "golfer", left massive divots in the fairways with no repairs done. Group in front of them same deal, even saw them throw their balls to a par 3. Again we were a two-some playing cart path only golf. But some simple rules about play from the clubhouse and a better understanding of their golf game from the guys in front of us would have made our experience a whole lot better. The course is great and the greens are awesome, but if the round is long like that all the time, I would not play there again.
