Great Course

Meticulously maintained course in rural setting. The course is difficult but fair with tree-lined fairways, well-groomed fairways and bunkers, and gently-sloped greens that roll true. There are many water hazards on course, but generally avoidable unless you hit a bad shot. One exception may be hole 8, a par 4 that requires you to fly a tee shot about 195 yards to clear the large water hazard or about 170 yards to lay up, leaving you on a downhill slope in the rough with a long uphill shot to the green. Pace of play was fast for our twosome as two foursomes kindly let us pass them and we let a single pass us. The asphalt cart paths are in need of maintenance, and be careful when your cart exits the bridge on hole 9 as the transition to the cart path is almost V-shaped.

Fun - Pretty course

Since I live in the desert, I really like the lushness of this course. Thousands of flowers add to the beauty. I have never needed a tee time as the course isn't usually that busy.
