Labor Day- mix of rain and sun
I booked this tee time last minute as a single. I was paired with 3 other guys, which I expected because it was Labor Day. Great guys, friendly service and the golf course was in great shape. Play was a little slow, but to be expected at noon on a really busy day. This golf course has a lot of water hazards that can definetly eat you up if you don't pay attention. Would definetly reccomend this course to all levels, has 4 different tee boxes to accomadate any skill level.
Beautiful Challenging Course for most Golfers
Very beautiful course. Set in the foothill of Laurel County. Rolling Hills all around. Fairways in great shape. Greens in good shape. Challenging to stay in fairways because the rough is rough to find balls. Very friendly staff. Fun but challenging. Will return. Great values on GolfNow.
Overall great experience!
Course was extremely nice and well kept. Staff was friendly. Great golfing experience! Will definitely be back!
Gorgeous facility, can't believe the price
This is an upscale public course with all the private club feel and ameneties. It sits among $500,000 to 750,000 homes, that don't effect your play whatsoever. Wife and I were passing through and decided to play 9 in the evening. We teed off a little before 6:30. The employee in the shop informed me that they have an amazing twilight rate of $25 for $18 w/cart. I don't know what their regular rate is, but I'm sure it is well above $50, esp on the weekends. CC is a modern course with some elevation changes. And we only played the front 9. #6 is a beautiful tucked par 3 with 100 ft drop from the back tees. With 4 sets of tees, and holes ranging from easy to hard, it will be enjoyable for anyone. Being a modern design, this course would be a little tough to walk; but not impossible. You would not expect to see this course, in this neighborhood, when you turn onto the street at the sign. Can't wait to play again!
Great course.
Course was in great shape. Fairways and greens were in fabulous shape. Really enjoyed playing the course.
Good course
The day we played was cart path only which makes playing a little more a challenge
Nice place to play for a great value.
Course was in good shape especially considering all the rain in the area. It can be a challenge from the back tees but from the member tees it is a good fun golf course. Greens were in great shape with some of the fairways showing the effects of too much rain.
This course is beautiful.
It was a pleasure playing this course again. Had a chance to play a couple of times when it was first built but then went private. we traveled 80 miles to play it with our wives and was well worth the trip. This course is a must play.
The Crooked Creek course is in the best shape I have seen it and is an absolute value for the money!
This course is currently very well maintained. Beautiful surroundings and prestige greens that love to let the ball roll. Excellent golf outing. We have already booked another tee time to come back and play.
great course
a great course well worth playing. I drove over two hours to play it well worth the time going to it. was in great shape the day I played
Great test of golf. the greens were fast and true.
Well maintained course, the staff was very helpful as well as friendly. Good test of ability for an excellent price
Great golf course!!
Excellent golf course. Cart Path only is a big phrase at this course. If you are unable to walk then you should look to play else where. However, if cart path only doesnt bother you then this is a must play golf course. It offers a wide range of challanging golf holes. MUST PLAY IN KENTUCKY!!!
Beautiful golfing community
Play amongst beautiful homes and views. We played early season and the fairways were dormant, I would love to come back and play in the summer. Tough course
Top 3 public course in the state
I discovered Crooked Creek only this year. I believe it used to be a private residential club, but it is now open to the public. I consider it to be one of the top 3 public course in Kentucky. It is located in London, in a relatively secluded valley in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Crooked Creek has all the elements of a fun course. The location and scenery are wonderful, the design of each hole is unique, challenging and strategic, and the conditions are virtually always excellent. My only suggestion would be to cut the greens and fairways shorter to allow more bounce and roll. The course is certainly challenging, especially holes 11 through 15--these holes can tighten the nerves of any golfer with tight, tree-lined landing areas and lurking water hazards. The value for the money is ridiculous--you can play with a cart any day after 3pm for $25 (or after 2pm if you book through golfnow.com). This is an ideal golf course. I would play there every week if I lived closer to London.

Since I have not played this course in a while I won't make a specific comment on it, but I will say it definitely is NOT one of the top 3 public courses in the state as the last poster commented...not even close. I just dont want someone to go play there and think it's the best KY has to offer, far from it.
