A great day to golf!
The greens were smooth and predictable. The course was in good shape and maintained well. The layout is never boring and makes you plan your shots.
Southern Minnesota Gem
Excellent course for all ages, but especially for 55+ crowd. Friendly staff and enjoyable mix of holes. Pace of play was very good. Course conditions were very good. A little more difficult to find with road construction around the course. Especially interesting was the driveable par 4 12th hole at 249 yds.
Southern Minnesota has a hidden gem with Green Lea golf course. Would play again in a heartbeat.
Fun with some challenging holes.
This is not a course you will lose many balls on. Wide open fairways with mature trees made driving pretty stress-free. There are some fun little par 3s tucked in the middle of the course but nothing that would scare off a new golfer. There is a restaurant in the clubhouse and a nice little proshop. The putting and chipping greens were in great shape. The only drawbacks for me were the lack of excitement on the par 5s (long and straight with few hazards), and the fairway grass was LONG. I ended up leaning on my irons and hybrids way more than usual because I was struggling to make good contact with the woods in the grass. Overall a nice little course and good value!
Such a great surprise!
Beautiful course, we will definitely be back soon! It didn’t bother us, but it did seem strange only one or two holes containing bunkers. The staff are so friendly though and the course is beautifully maintained!
We had a blast golfing and the staff was outstanding.

Hello and thank you for your 5-star rating! We're delighted you enjoyed your round. Please book another round with us soon, and thanks for choosing Green Lea Golf Course!
Classic mature golf course with some length and target golf.
With a history of pristine condition I regret to report that it needs some attention. Black dirt in the middle of fairways. Slow greens that do not hold the ball on chips - and this in July. I hope the ownership gets it back into shape as this is a beautiful course that can be both forgiving and challenging.

I apologize for the poor conditions of the course the last time you play. I would like to let you know the conditions of the course have improved greatly from 2 years ago. Come back out and see us!
Great true roll on greens
Made the drive down and was very happy with Green Lea. The greens had a great roll and you never had any moments where your ball went somewhere it wasn't supposed to. The fairways have been hit hard by the rain, and are in pretty bad shape on some low parts of the course, but for the deals you can get it is a course to go and play. Never too busy and you have a lot of different holes, which makes it fun for an above average golfer.
Very nice course.
The spring rain made the course wet in places but overall it was in great shape. A treed course with great greeens and a variety of lengths.
