Piney Valley Golf Course

If you are using the Golfpass, it is a GREAT deal!!! Normal price i 47 dollars. Golfpass can get you 20-30 dollar rounds after the discount. It is a great price. Ensure to show up right around your tee time, Not because it is crowded but course rules only allow you to get your cart keys 15 minutes prior to your tee time. I think it is done this way because there is no starter and the kind of control it from the Clubhouse. If you do show up early because you have to go through the gate, the range and putting green as well as the chipping green help time pass. Also getting through the gate to enter the base was fairly painless.

Don’t use golf now to book a tee time at this course. If you show up 10min late they won’t let you walk on even if nobody is playing and if you show up 20min early you’ll sit in the club house until it’s you’re time regardless if absolutely nobody is playing.

I have played this golf course numerous times this year already. I really do enjoy it. It has plenty of distance for long ball hitter. It has challenging holes. The greens are coming in really nice as well. There still hasn't been very many people on the course yet this year. I think the warmer it gets the more people will be playing. It is on a military base so credentials to enter the base will be required. I think this course is worth the time it will take to enter the base.

Course was in horrible shape. No grass on greens. Staff was wotking right in the middle of the fairways so you had to hit around them. Mowed grass clumps everywhere from lack of regular mowing.

You will need a temporary id from visitor center in order to get past the base entrance. Can’t just drive to course with out one.
