First Time Playing

A recreational place to play.

Indian Foothills is a golf course that started as an old nine hole golf course with push up greens, that then added a modern back nine. Both nines are short, with quite a few drivable par fours for the longer hitters. The original front nine actually has some pretty cute little holes that can be appreciated for their routes through the trees and for the ground contours on a few (3rd hole in particular). The back nine is wide open with no trees but it does have good mounding and more bunkers. Sadly, the bunkers are in desperate need of maintenance. The rest of the course is maintained to a level one might expect from a small town 18 hole course, fairly average. Some quality holes include the 1st-3rd, 5th, 12th, 14th, 16-18.

In the end, I thought it was a fun recreational round, but nothing special. I’d recommend keeping it in your back pocket as an option to go play if you’re near the area, especially if you’re looking for an enjoyable and not stressful round for a good price.
