A nice Muni 9 hole course
I had 3 hours before a pickleball tournament in the area (Arch pickleball and badminton center). It’s a nice 9 hole course. One par 5, 3 par 3, for a par 34 total. One par 4 is fairly long (400 yards). Par 5 is close to 500 yards. Par 4s are mostly 300-350 yards. Short course for long hitters but this is fine with me (I drive 200-240). Two Par 3s are 190 and one is 125. The course is in decent condition. Club house is nice; staff are friendly. Green is a bit slow but good condition. Fairway and rough are okay. Pace of play is a bit slow on a Sunday morning but manageable. Definitely will play again. I lived in at Louis 18 years and play 100+ rounds of golf every year. This is the first time I played St Ann
Decency
If you’re a beginner or OK golfer, it’s a good course to practice on. The greens and fairways are a bit rough but other than that it’s a good course to learn on.
Love this Place
St. Ann will always be one of my favorites in the area. Great staff, kind people.
Remodeled club house is a nice improvement for this Public Course.
Typical Muni.. rough shape
The course is not well kept. Tons of weeds, the fairways are short weeds the rough is long weeds. Greens rough with many bare spots. Almost tokk drops due to balls being submerged in tall patches of clover and being invisible. These were balls in the rough within 10’ of the fairway. Course is as simple and flat as imaginable.
Always good
St. Ann is consistently our go-to golf course. I and my buddies are all "duffers" which is why we find St. Ann to our liking. It's challenging, but not beyond our ability to play and have fun. The course was in great shape, and we look forward to the renovations in the Pro-shop being completed.
Great course to walk
Saint Anne is a good course that's always in reasonable shape and will make you feel good about your game. Easy walk
A Little Soggy After Heavy Rains
I had to down-rate the St. Ann course this time, but it wasn't their fault. It had rained several days in a row. I and my fellow geezer buddy found it taxing to do all the extra walking required for two reasons. First, we're both lousy golfers that can't keep our balls on the fairway (that didn't sound good). Secondly, because the course was still somewhat saturated with rain water, we had to keep the golf cart on the cart path, thus requiring extra walking. That being said, St. Ann is still our favorite golf course.
Yet another really good round!
It's been raining here a lot lately, so we can't blame the golf course for some water soaked areas. We were just happy to be able to play, since our previous round was cancelled due to excessively wet conditions. This is our favorite golf course, and everyone we have met has been really nice, from the staff to the fellow golfers.
Always a fun experience
GolfPass continues to urge me to review the course, even after I've done 4 of these. This will be my last one. The St. Ann golf course is ideal for me and my 2 buddies because of the ease of reserving a t-time, the great personnel in the pro-shop, the course itself for really bad golfers such as we, the nice fellow golfers on the course, the lack of steep hills for us old geezers, and the nice fairways.
Another Day In Paradise
The weather here has held for the past 2 months. We only got rained out once, and the rest of the time it has been sunny with only 1 really hot day (100 degrees y'all!). Yesterday, Oct. 24, 2024 it was in the low 70's and sunny. We had very few delays working our way through the course. Making arrangements and checking in was a snap with the Golfnow app. Another great day of fun with friends.
Good course, especially for beginners.
I love the course as a high handycapper the fairways are very large and open greens are all good beside 2. Only tends to take me about 70 mins to play the whole course.
Yet Another Great Day!
Using the Golfnow app, booking a tee reservation is quick and easy. For 3 lousy golfers such as we old geezers, St. Ann is a wonderful course for enjoying the sunshine and getting a little exercise with friends. It's just challenging enough, yet not so easy as to get boring. We just started playing together this year, and we're hooked!
