Valley View Golf Club

As a paying member of Valley View Golf Course, I’m outraged at how I was treated here. I admit I made a mistake by playing the back 9 without paying immediately, but I had every intention of returning my key and settling up afterwards. Instead of handling the matter professionally, the manager cussed at me, accused me of “stealing,” and turned the situation into a public scene.

Even worse, my friends who had nothing to do with this, were kicked off on the very last hole. She went as far as to call me a “bad friend,” trying to equate that with being a bad person. That kind of personal attack is unprofessional and unnecessary.

To make things worse, she claimed to be the “owner,” which I later found out is not true she is only the manager. As a member, I expected to be treated with respect, but instead I was humiliated and disrespected.

This entire situation could have been handled calmly and privately, but instead it became hostile and embarrassing. Valley View should seriously reconsider who they put in charge of managing the course.

Staff is super nice and awesome, was only able to play back nine due to an outing but it was like playing in a swamp when we haven’t had rain in days.

It's a nice enough course very challenging especially the back 9. If it's your first time it can be really confusing but we paired up with someone who had played before. Beer was cheap and had a lot of fun.

The individual working the pro shop didn’t really understand our golf pass tee time and stated that only one of us (two golfers) had a cart paid for even though the golf pass was purchased for 18 holes for two with a cart. He acted like he was doing us a favor when he gave us both the cart rental. That same individual was fairly confused with the two single golfers joining us and gave them both an individual cart. This resulted in a young lady stopping us halfway on hole one (fairly rudely I would say) and stated that we were wrong and should have three carts in a foursome even though the pro shop did just that. She made the individuals combine into one cart and we played on.

The grass on the tee boxes was typically longer than the fairway grass making it interesting on tee shots. A few of the greens were in rough shape to say the least. A lot of the roughs reminded me of shag carpet. Some of the fairways were comparable to a second cut on nicer courses.

One of our carts died after 9 holes. The other one would have to be switched from reverse to forward periodically just to get to start.

It was such a great day! They really need rangers, though. We let two groups play through us and then got behind a super slow foursome. We watched them hit 5-7 shots each compared to our one!

Valley View Golf Course was a blast to play! The layout is both challenging and fun, with stunning views that make every hole a treat. The course was in fantastic shape—greens and fairways looked great. The staff was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even better. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just out to enjoy a day on the course, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Golf for the family versus the Country Club set. Some really neat holes and some short par 4s. Some of the greens were in bad shape, but great value for the money.

The course layout was ok, but in terrible condition. The cart path was rutted out and rough, fairways had several rough spots and was mainly weeds, and the greens where about as rough as you can get. Unless they do some serious maintenance I will not be returning.

Course is in rough shape, some tee boxes were hard dirt with very little grass, greens had weeds growing in them and lots of sand. Our tee time was 330. When we were on the back 9 we started noticing a lot of people all of a sudden. A group of men asked us what we were doing because they now have league and we shouldn’t be there. We ended up finished the last few holes anyways. Pace of play behind these groups was very slow.

.Fairways and Greens above average conditions. Tee boxes below average. Greens average and a little slow.The back 9 has a couple of fun holes. For the cost to play well worth money. Overall an average golf course but differently worth a try.
