New owners really trying
Arrived early very friendly staff inside. Starter loaded up my cart also super friendly. He told me new owners new staff trying to change the course for the better and I can see they are trying. Hooked up with 3 other friendly players, had a fun day. Small complaints most greens have a lot of bare rough spots I don't know why. And no water coolers on any holes. It was 90 plus out could have used the water. Didn't take away from the fun day. Would play again the course is fun
Very average unappealing course
Most holes very ordinary with few suprises. The only enjoyable holes were a few with an elevated tee. The greens, however, were in pretty good shape. Golf fees reflect the quality of the course and with Golf Now there are deals to be had for a very ordinary course.
A Good Time in the Fresh Air
A lovely day of golf. Started with the nice people in the club house and the new starter. We were able to get out a little early which is especially appreciated this time of year (local high school golf team begins practice around 2:30 PM). The course is in good condition, freshly mowed fairways and greens; greens are firm and roll true. This course is a good challenge for a broad range of skill levels; after all, how many courses offer a 230 yard (from white tees) par three? The nineteenth hole is a great place to wrap up an enjoyable afternoon with light food and cold beer.
A cluster ——
Had a tee time for 18 holes only to find out front nine was closed due to a shotgun outing. Had to play the back nine twice. Couldn’t cancel since I had already paid on Golf Now. Whoever’s is running things need to wake up
Good municipal course
The rough is as big and wide as the fairways and very deep. This made it hard to stay in the fairways. And made the round less fun.
Bang for your Buck
This course usually is the cheapest on golf now, but don't let that fool you. The course is in great shape, especially the fairways. Some patches in the rough, but you shouldn't be there in the first place ;)
I was told that it is under new management and that they are really trying to change things up here. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. What I liked a lot is that it reminded me of a Florida course. Pine straw and trees lining the hole, and the course layout is unique. I highly recommend this course and plan on going back.
Course is in great shape!!
I really enjoy the course at Cedar Creek! Very friendly staff and the greens look better early this season than I have ever seen! Great Value and lots of fun!!
Marathon man
You can't beat this course in terms of value for your dollar. Great layout, friendly staff, an $2 beers at the end of the tound!!!
Condition
Front nine very pedestrian.Back nine a lot more interesting. To call them fairways is a stretch. More bare areas than grass. Horrible lies around greens. Bunkers were surprisingly well groomed but you could use a Texas wedge out of most of them. Tee boxes leave s lot to be desired. Lastly Id have to give the greens a pass because of the time of year.
In summation will only play it when a Hot Deal is available. Otherwise way overpriced.
Rich
Great staff, nice layout, relaxed atmosphere. Who could ask for more!
course not ready for play.
Tees closed. Cartpath only on front nine.Back nine open to walkers only. Ground was wet/spongy in many areas.Paid in advance with golf now and could not get my money back.Bad day.
Rich
Because of the wet conditions carts were only allowed on the front 9. Alternate tee boxes were in play. This is a great course under normal conditions. The staff, both inside and out, are very friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for more! Off course bar and grill are excellent! Value for the money is above average.
Average course
Decent course. First nice day in a month so a little crowded, but to be expected. Greens pretty rough but it is january. Friendly staff and a great deal on golf now. Only an average course so I wouldn't go
again without a hot deal offer.
Nice staff, fun course, good value for the money
Because of recent ice and snow all tee boxes were closed. Had to use temporary tees the were probably shorter than ladies tee boxes. But staff was very nice, food and bar are excellent, and course has a great layout.
Neat course
The course was in fair condition for this time of year , the greens were a little slow and rough but still a fun round of golf. The layout was fun some really cool holes with the elevation changes .
