Great course
The course is very nice and I liked how much variety there was in the different holes with the altitude differences. The greens tees and fairways were also well kept. I was happy to be able to use my youth on course here. The staff was very nice and understanding and their food and drink in the pro shop was not over priced. Overall I was very happy with this course.
course and staff was first rate ,, will golf again
love the course n the staff was vey friendly n great to deal with
Great Course with plenty of pleasant yardages.
I’ve played this course many times. I’m an out of town player who vacations in the area every year. I gave 4 stars for the condition of the course because of the fact they have had a horrible drought in rain this year and have done a remarkable job. A few really rough tee boxes and green collars. But all in all a great time. GPS on the carts make for a convenient and fun round of golf. Used a hot deal and was not charged for a cart, despite that being mentioned in a previous review.
Be careful
If you book a hot deal through golfnow, be careful with this course. They will charge you another $10 per person for a cart, even though golfnow lists it as "cart included"
favorite place to play
Course is in excellent condition. Staff are wonderful⛳⛳⛳⛳
What a fantastic staff!!!!
The friendliest most accommodating staff EVER!!! Nice course, really challenging table top greens, a lot of fun!! Beware of the neighbor on #8.,..,he hates golfers!! :)
Much improved
Easy to find, easy check in, carts could use regular cleaning, no water for towels, no drinking water on course, tees could use some leveling on some, fairways nice, not much roll like in AZ, roughs punishing, greens are nice and soft to walk on and putt pretty slow and almost always a little curve near the cup, bunkers with nice soft sugar sand, much better cared for than in the past, a very good price as well, all greens with rise in front making chipping a little more challenging
wonderful course
We played this course many years ago and there is no comparison... The new owners have done an excellent job getting this course up to par.
Staff was great!
This course has made a nice come back from being poorly care for, for a number of years. (Stopped playing here about 5 years ago because of bad conditions) Happy to find the new owners and staff and new Club house has made this a fun course to play again! AND my friend got a hole-in-one on the 2nd hole! We will be back!
Great condition
These owners have turned Northwoods around, making it a wonderful course to play again. Two years ago my friends and I said we would not play the course again. Now we look forward to playing it. Thank you Northwoods grounds crew, management and owners!
