Grenoble International in France's Rhone-Alpes region
Located just outside the Alps city of Grenoble, Grenoble International is a championship-caliber golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. The course is set on hilly terrain and leads to some very dramatic holes. The most notable of which is the par-5 ninth that from about 200 yards plays straight downhill toward the green, with the city of Grenoble and mountains behind.
Grenoble International plays over 6,200 meters and is a par 73, thanks to five par 5s - none of which are horribly long, so reaching them in two is a possibility for the longer hitter. The clubhouse features a full pro shop, driving range and dining room both inside and outside. There is also a good practice facility with a full driving range and short game area.
