Hotel Casa Velas and Velas Vallarta

Of course beautiful day. Staff great. Good deal with Golf Now. Course average at best. Sand isn’t sand. Green’s were just aerated, ball bounced all over map.. Course has slipped since we played it in 19. Thankfully we didn’t pay full price.

Vista Vallarta is awesome! It seems to lack players and therefore probably stuggles a bit with some maintenance areas. Overall the course was great though a little dry...but where does the water come from? We were here is dry season in April. The fairways are A-OK and the rough was playable. Target golf as anything off the rough was essentially unfindable. I'd play it again and recommend others do the same as it needs more play and more cash to get the most out of it! Good luck!!

From the time I arrived I received great customer service my reservation was recorded all I needed was to give them my name no questions asked I had a great caddy after 1520 minutes on the driving range headed over to the first tee and had a 2 1/2 round of great golf.

Very nice course located conveniently in the city. Greens had been recently punched and sanded, fairways were well maintained, tee boxes were a little rough at times but not unplayable. Water does have plenty of crocodiles habiting them so stay away but fun to see. Not on the high end of service but staff was courteous. I would recommend to everyone.

This course was just okay, but they also just punched the greens, but charged full price!!! Not cool... Crocodiles all over the place, so that's super cool and fun, but the course should cost not more than $50. Will not play this course again... Cart was also horrible

They raised their prices over $50 from last year and they were over priced last year... I decided to give it a try and got a rate from GN for $155 per. Pricey for PV, but heard it was a nice course. It was nice and totally empty, I'm sure because of the price. Not worth that much... Then I had the unpleasant surprise of actually being charged $180 per, not the GN price of $155. Tried calling and was not able to get a hold of anyone...

You should inform to the golf player that the course is under maintenance. Only the second round it’s open and the greens in then 2nd round are under maintenance

We payed a discounted round only to find out at the first tee that we would only be able to play the front 9 because the back 9 was under repair. We felt cheated by the fact that there was now disclosure of this fact. If we would know beforehand I would be considered my options.

In under four hours .. course was in good condition..

nice course, constant flow of airpleanes taking off as the.course borders the airport main runway, otherwise very nice.

Second game this week - greens just as hard to figure out and course just as challenging.

Very pretty holes, lots of iguanas & crocodiles.

Recommend trying this course - good prices relative to other courses in the area.

Very nice golf course, in good overall condition and very challenging to play - especially the greens which are grainy and tricky (albeit a bit slow - but they do roll true). The grass , especially in front of the greens is like Velcro so the “ bump and run chipping “ game is very difficult.

Lots of wild life around to look at - birds, iguanas and crocodiles.

Friendly staff everywhere.

Will play again.

I hadn’t played this course in several years, and remembered very little of it. The views are beautiful, the course is impeccable condition, the greens are very fast, and on the day and time I played, the course was empty and I was able to play 18 holes by myself in a little less than 3 1/2 hours. Delightful! My only reservation about the course is that it lacks a bit in character. There are only one or two really memorable holes, one a scary par 3 over a deep barranca.

Overall, it was a really nice day, if a bit pricey even at the afternoon rate.
