Hotel Casa Velas and Velas Vallarta

I enjoyed a lot the landscape. Some holes very challenging, some quite easy, some good luck, some bad luck, some good play, some three puts - all in all an enjoyable golf round. Can't wait to play next week the other course.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the course was not n great condition, greens were okay. I had expected a little more lush and green perhaps my expectations were too high. For the price it wasn’t a good value.

All great, especially when the ranger arranged for us to play through a slow foursome

All was great except I had called the day before and was told that there was no charge for wife riding in cart, but when we arrived the girl charged us $44.00 for my wife! I told her that I had called the day before and she said that the lady was wrong. Not fair to pay $44.00 just to ride with me!!!! So wrong!

Played once for $250 early and another time at noon for $189. A little expensive for this course The second round we were stuck in the middle of a tournament and had to rush to get through the first 4 holes because they were having a shotgun start on holes 1-4 behind us and also on holes 14-18 in front of us.

Played the course 6 times in 3 weeks while in Puerto Vallarta. Tried to book with Hot Deals but every time they tacked on sales tax and fees that they don't charge on other tee times. Practically no advantage at all. Always fun to play this course with the crocidile holes. A little short staffed but the people who did work really hustled to keep things moving.

Nothing put a goat pasture. Save your money, leave your clubs at homes if this is a vacation.

Fairways OK ... Greens not bad ... average muni !

Bunkers are horrible, it's beach sand that is harden. You'd get more forgiveness from asphalt.

In LA ... this would be $45 US at Lakewood. It's a mirror of that course.

Terrible but they get away with it as it's the long game in town.

Price on golf now good charged me at course worked out to be 495 cdn should have been around 430 .We played the Norman course golf now took the money no problem 😞

It took 4 hours to play 12 holes. We were well on our way to a 6 hour round so we quit. The marshall blamed it on one slow group and was sympathetic. We have played here a number of times and it wasn't this slow. It is frustrating that they would allow one group to ruin everyone else's rounds.

I dont understand why rental clubs are do bad. We had a wedge that snapped in half. I had to beg for a lob wedge. Ther had four woods and a 4 and 5 iron. One wedge with higher loft fhan a pitching wedge. I had to fo to a ma ager to get lob wedge. The clubs looked like they had been used 1000 rounds. That was the premium set.
