Reviews
Very Green
We were impressed how green the fairways and greens were. It is a very well maintained course. I initially did not realize it was mandatory to have a caddie and was apprehensive about it. It turned out to be a wonderful experience.Hector was very helpful and fun.
They had sanded the greens recently , some still had quite a bit left on them. It sort of tripped up a few putts. Other than that, it was a perfect golf experience.
We booked through Golf Now for a hot deal special on the price. Caddie extra.
Course layout was time consuming
First time playing this course today. Tee'd off at 12:30 with 3 other players and finished at around 4:45 pm. Pace was slow because of my pairings. We was assigned to a Caddy, amazing person, but I didn't find any value in his service as a Caddy...very adifficult for one person to take care of 4 players. No cart GPS and the course was not on my Garmin GSP. Course only have a few water coolers. Bottled water is at cost. Knowledging all this I will play again.
Great Course in Puerto Vallarta
The course was in great shape. Booked a tee time on Golf Now at 2:00 for $70.00 which was a great deal. Fernando was our caddy and did an excellent job with yardages and reading putts. Saw a ton of wildlife including some crocs. The suspension bridge across the river to the first tee was amazing as well. Would definitely play here again.
Vidanta golf
Great day once you get onto the course. My tee time was delayed because 3 member booked but didn’t show up. Seems that members can do that without penalty. Doesn’t seem right. I had to wait until I could matched with another later group.
Today’s Golf
Actually played with 3 other Canadians. Had a great time!
Great Executive Par-3 Course
We had a great time playing at this course. The entire course was in incredible shape, especially for an executive course.
The price for the round was not too high for a resort golf course that can be played at night under the lights. All of the greens were in impeccable shape, landscaping throughout the course looked great, and there are a number of enjoyable, challenging tee shots that you wouldn’t normally experience on a regular sized, non-executive course.
We are looking forward to playing it again.
Immaculate executive course under the lights
This is an absolutely immaculate executive course that can be played under the lights on the Vidanta - Nuevo Vallarta resort. The course is in excellent condition with water hazard and bunkers on every hole which is a rarity for an executive course. The greens are average size, and roll pure.
The price is a high, but is fair for a resort course in my opinion ($59), as it is more of a scenic feature of the overall resort so they want to keep it in great shape (keep non-golfers off that could damage it).
All in all, if you are a golfer and want to play a little golf under the lights on vacation, this is a great option IMO.
Great time
Course was dry, but learned to hit in front of green and allow to bounce on. Greens were very fast. Our caddie Rosy was excellent and spoke excellent English. Said he had caddied once for Arnold Palmer. I believed him.
Have to go back
We really enjoyed this course. It offered a wide variety of hole layouts, challenging water holes, and lots of sand. The course winds through the Vidanta site giving the players many different looks at the surroundings. We will go back again.
Gets a little expensive
First you tip the car valet that has to drive you to the club house, then beer and a drink for the caddie, and tip the cart girl, tip for caddie and then tip the guy that has to drive you back to your car. $65 to Gofnow, another $65 in beer & tips.
First time at Norman Signature Videnta
Excellent experience playing at this golf course with Martin our caddie. Great course, nice layout, fast greens. Super fast pace.
Spectacular
Played here with my son and his two friends. The course and staff were great!! Fabulous day! The caddie was very helpful and worked hard to help us in joy the round.
Norman Course - Great track
Booked on GolfNow and saved a little. The rental clubs were good although I wish the staff would have told me they had stiff shaft available. Other than that it was a nice practice facility, good cart, and outstanding caddie (Rosy). He gets a 5+ star rating.
The course isn’t easy but not over the top tough. Lots of water and even a handful of crocodiles, not something we see many of in Canada, lol.
I’d play it again.
Hit a Seam
Teed off after lunch , was finished by 3:30 . Played as single with great caddie Arturo . Whole place to ourselves , played other course on Tuesday , Comparable . Pro shop really friendly today , must have been bad day on Tuesday :)
Golf now value , great !
Too easy
For the first time, this course is for beginners there is no challenge, normally a Niklaus course are much challenging.if you are a beginner this is the right place, nice conditions but too flat easy course, a bit expensive!
Caddies worth it .
Course keeps changing layout according to regular I played with . Caddies are pros , trust their putting advice and fairway placement suggestions . Also caddies earn their living from your fee so a little extra goes along way . They are not pushy about it at all . Very appreciative of your fee. Very friendly !
Pro shop staff brings down friendly rating down a bit :(
Golf now rate defineltly a good deal versus rack rate :)
Not sure why
I booked a tee time for 10;13 for 4 people when I had to remove one person somehow we got switched to 11;41
very picturesque
Great caddie with extremely fast greens. Beautiful Norman layout and good pace of play
