The third, a dogleg left of 376, typifies most of the holes on this course: not long, but challenging in other ways. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

Seven ( # 3 index) seems like one of the best par-4’s in Connecticut. This photo doesn’t reveal just how tough it is to make a par here. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

Eleven is another great hole, its protected green seen here in the shadows. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

This sprawling bunker flanking the right side of hole 11 is typical of the challenges abounding on these eighteen. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/22/2020

The fourteenth green, at 560 yards, will take two Herculean shots to reach in two, but anything less may find its way into the small brook before it. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/22/2020

an unhidden gem
Have played here quite a few times. Almost always a great track, interesting holes. Some quite difficult no matter how many times you play there. Great staff and restaurant
It keeps getting BETTER...
We play here a couple of times a year. It's a great track for an early-in-the-season round. NGC did not disappoint us again. Every person we dealt with was very friendly. Course was in great shape (greens were rolled).
We're 10-12 handicappers, so we played from the Blue tees. It's a good challenge, not so much because of distance, but more because your iron play has to be pretty accurate.
Love this place!
Consistently good experience!
Always enjoy playing here. Wide open so very forgiving. Main challenge from elevation changes, multiple doglegs and stream that crosses many fairways. My layout score is based on the lack of features that I associate with a Donald Ross design; numerous bunkers with many in the middle of fairway and mounded greens. Try Shennacosit for a truer DR experience (be prepared for slow play there). All said Norwich is a consistently great experience.
Norwich Food -- The Masters
Excellent food, great prices, great specials and a Senior menu.
Norwich had the best food of any of the 19 golf courses that I played.
Suggest Norwich put in Gold tees for Seniors men and Senior Women.
Golf course was in great shape
We were very surprised how good of condition the course was in . The pace of play was good and the price was good
2.5 hours for nine holes
2.5 hours for 9 holes is way to much, went home after nine.
pace of play is slow
I play this course often an love it. For some reason the pace of play the last time I played was horrible. Almost 5 hours and had to leave after 15 holes. The course is kept in great shape and look forward to going back.
Challenging course
Small and challenging greens which I enjoyed. Good test of golf. Staff was great. Need to play course more than once as there are some blind shots, ravines that you expect to be wet that are not. 18 holes, cart, single, finished in 3:15. Full menu and bar. Burger was good. Well worth the GolfNow Hot Deal price. I will be back soon.
Norwich Golf
Pace of play was slow due to golf now promotion but overall great course.
Norwich CV
The course is in excellent condition. The greens were medium speed, but rolled true. Great layout and lots of hills.
Smallest greens i have ever played on.
I found the golf course to be in pretty good shape in the fairways and greens, but the tee areas and rough were in bad shape. There were a lot of hard packed areas around the edges of the greens and fairways.
