Very exciting and challenging!
Beautiful course. booked it through golf now with a hot deal and it was very affordable ($60.00). The price can get pretty steep at times but i still would recommend it. Its that nice.
Awesome
Maybe the most challenging course in Delaware. Incredible backdrop of the bay. Water on almost every hole
Beautiful golf course
This is truly one of Ocean City's gems. Greens, Fairways, Rough, you name it and it's in pristine condition.
This course is difficult but fun
Everything was in great shape. Well maintained and friendly staff.
Played in the Snow, Still Enjoyed It!
I played it with flurries falling and the wind blowing 20+ MPH. The course was an absolute bear. But a fantastic layout, and if you can get a "hot deal" price for it, you're robbing them. Can't wait to play in the summer.
Course was in great shape! Had a blast!
Hello! Played Bayside Resort golf course 1/29/13! Great deal through golfnow.com & was very impressed! Course was in great shape & 60 degree weather in January was fabulous! 2nd hole was very tough hole for those of us right handers that have a slice. 18th hole is very nice as was the whole course!Would play again in a heart beat! Great savings on golfnow.com!
Great layout
Every hole is unique and very well maintained. Even though it's winter, the greens are in perfect shape. Smooth and fast but not too fast.
Challenging & fun course.
Staff was friendly. Food was good. Course was in great shape considering it is mid to late January. Greens were rolling beautifully. Definitely recommend playing this course.
Challenging Nicklaus course with great views
First time playing this track. In great condition for January. Generous landing areas (mostly) and there's no blind shots but lots of trouble for errant shots (marsh and water). It was very windy the day we played making a lot of the par 4s requiring three shots to reach the green. It's cart path only in the winter negating the value of the cart installed GPS. We still played in 4 hrs. There are some long tee shot carries over marsh or water but doable for all but the shortest hitters. Bring extra balls. Greens ran true with undulation induced breaks that were reasonable to read.
Great track
I took advantage of a Golfnow hot deal to play Bayside Resort and I was NOT disappointed! Fairways are bentgrass and were in terrific shape and same for the greens. Even tho it was offseason the majority of the course was cleared of leaves and kept in fine shape. One of the most difficult courses to play at the beach but a great test for any golfer bc of multiple tee boxes. Definitely recommend!
Nicklaus ! What else do you need to know !!!!!!
Course is always in good shape. Got it on a deal which was great. But there was nothing worse than getting stuck with a member and his little boy who had no clue,[just had clubs to call themselves golfers] Left us 3 holes behind by the time we were done. They could use a little more marshalling. Barely got the round in and we teed it up at noon. [Hard to keep a good game going when your watching that all day]. Great course albiet.
The course is in excellent condition, especially in the fall.
It is well maintained and very challenging. I recommend this course to anyone who likes a challenge.
Great off Season Deal!
Thanks for a great round of golf at a course I can't usually afford to play - off season rates make this gem affordable. Just bring a couple extra balls to feed the water, all over the course.
great open course
the greens were just a little to fast for my type of play. I hope they are not always this short
great course
great course has great sight lines with a great view of the coastline and vistas of Ocean City
By far the best course in the area. Very challenging greens.
Bring plenty of balls, Our foursome really enjoyed the course and look forward to playing it again
Great layout and very playable.
Great special thru Golfnow. Got the special with huge discount on a very interesting and well-maintained course. Unfortunately, there was a lot of rain recently and was path-only, which slowed the round. However, a great system of "Blended" tees, giving some "white" and some "blue" tees gave a nice yardage of 6100 and slope of 137 made the course very playable for my 17 handicap. Greens were fast and somewhat sloped, with collection areas that made for some interesting short shots. Staff was friendly, and restaurant menu looked good, proshop was well-stocked, so, all in all, a pleasant experience that I will try to repeat on my next visit to the area.
Very Challenging
If you spray the ball this course may not be for you. Lots of water and carry. Average golfers should stay on the white tees.
Great, difficult golf course. Regular green fees are very pricey.
Outstanding place to play golf, but this is a difficult golf course. Not appropriate for a high handicapper. Great value if one can play it for $75.00 or less.
Nice layout, but too difficult for the average golfer, even from the front tees.
The course is in great shape but is too difficult for the average golfer. The course needs more bailout areas, and the 2nd and 18th holes can ruin a good round with trouble on all sides.
