Great course
Great course and easy play. Had my 7 year old and the pace of play allowed him to hit as much as he wanted. Will play again in the future
Stillwater
1st time playing. Not a real fan of blind landing areas. A bit too up and down for me. Would like to have played with someone who knew the course.
don't be handicapped
Every tee box is elevated.....bunkers washed out.....and the greens are having issues.........Dont be handicapped as every tee box you must navagate usually up hill across dirt rocks and roots.......Not a sole around oh wait if your a senior its $40 and sorry boys every tee time not sold is lost revenue.......Hint sell it for less mostly because its a great $35 course in the morning and a $20 to $25 afternoon track......btw you not close to big golf population......and .for $48 I can play RTJ...hint hint,.......hmmm....one and done.......
Great Value
The course is in great shape. The best in years. And the people couldn’t be nicer. The forward tees are not an afterthought, which is really appreciated. Great restaurant - Copper’s - for post round beer and flatbread. The only thing missing is a drink cart. (And someone needs to clean the course bathrooms immediately … a minor ding, but ewhhh)
18 Hole Monster! Excellent challenge.
It was a great day for golfing! Only made 1 par today but I hit the ball! LOL Not only is the course challenging with its savage hills but when you come down 18 no matter what you shot for the day The BAR AND Grill is a satisfying Pit Stop being heading home. I want to play once a month there now.
Great overall experience!
Arrived at the course approximately 45 minutes before tee time. The check-in was quick and easy. Stepped into the restaurant and ask what could be ready quickly. The service was excellent and the food was great. We made it to the first tee with time to spare.
The course was in very good shape. Very challenging layout with several doglegs and blind landing areas. No one in our foursome had played the course before so we were all guessing on the proper landing spots. Something as simple as hole diagrams on the scorecards or in the carts would help for first timers. This will not be an issue when we return in the future, which I feel everyone in our group will do.
There were a few burned out or bare areas on the perimeter of a few greens, but the overall condition was above average. They were consistent and rolled true.
With four sets of tees I feel that golfers of all levels would have an enjoyable, while challenging, experience.
Excellent
Course has definitely jumped into Spring. A little soggy due to recent rains. Greens are slower than usual at the moment. #2 green on front left has a pretty bad spot that doesn't need to let get out hand.
Enjoyable Day!
Very nice facility but the course is in very, very dry condition. I know that the rough and fairways are dormant this time of the year but they should have started watering them already. Some some spots are rock hard!
Great shape for winter
Excellent shape for winter. Once a few bunkers are fluffed up with some fresh sand course should hit its stride by late spring.
