Excellent course
Played a round with some friends. Course is in excellent shape for this time of year. Greens are a little slow but wasn’t expecting them to be great this time of year.
Awful course conditions!
The course should NOT have been opened today! It was wet, soggy , muddy and cart path ONLY! Totally unplayable! I’ve been playing this course for 30 years but driving an hour to get there today and paying the GolfNow green fees was not worthwhile! A total waste of time and money!!!
Course was in excellent condition. Scenic course with almost all holes having a water view.
This course needs a Ranger.
Played the day after Thanksgiving and the course was in good condition considering the time of year. Most of the leaves had even been removed from the playing grounds. For starters they were out of range balls by noon on a day where the fog hadn't lifted til almost 10am so its not like there were a ton of people out on the range. Then there were a lot of holiday 4somes out and I even saw a 3 cart 6some along with one group that had a father out with his 2 daughters and son. One of the daughters was 5 or 6 years old and playing from tee to green. As you can imagine this created quite the log jam and no one was ever allowed to pass. I just don't understand that kind of thing. Also the course has not dropped their green fee to winter rates yet. On a day packed with $50 a round golfers one might think to have someone out there riding around making sure proper etiquette is being practiced.
First under 100score !
We enjoyed here with my colleagues in this beautiful golf course. On top of that, finally
I could play under 100, as result that was 96, since I started playing golf since 2years ago. That’s got unforgettable memory in my life. Thank you so much.
THE GOOSE PLAYS LOOSE
FR IDAY IN THE FALL IN ALABAMA IS SWEET. THE SKY BLUE GOLF COURSE AT GOOSE POND WAS PERFECT DAY FOR GOLF. EVERY TIME I PLAY HERE I PLAY WELL. THE GREENS ROLL TRUE AND ALWAYS IN GREAT SHAPE THE FAIRWAYS ARE LIKE A CARPET. THIS COURSE NEVER DISSAPOINTS ME. MAYBE THE TEE BOXES NEED ALITTLE WATER.THE TENNESEE RIVER AND LAKES SURROND THE GOLF COURSE FOR BEUTIFULL SUN REFLECTS OFF THE WATER. GREAT VALUE FOR PLUBIC GOLF COURSE. ONE OF MY FAVORIT S.
Consistently Good
Some people might say that the cart paths at the Plantation Course are in rough shape and the carts are old and dilapidated.
Others might complain that the crackers sold in the clubhouse are stale, or that the course is a pretty pedestrian layout.
But nobody will ever say that the greens at the Plantation Course aren't excellent or that the course is poorly maintained.
That's what you can expect at the Plantation .. good fairways and good greens. And that's why I keep coming back.
Enjoyable, scoring course.
Always a good time at the plantation course. The greens are pretty small, but run purely. Find them in regulation, and score all day. Confidence building course.
