Best of the Best!
This is by far the best course I have played! The fairways are like green carpet with challenging greens. Most fairways are wide which appeal to the average golfer. There are plenty of water ways to keep you on your game. Because of Covivid19 I couldn't rate either staff or off course amenities.
Goose Pond Lake
Tees and fairways are pretty nice. Greens are still recovering from aeration but still roll nice and fast. There are a few blind shots and shot shaping is needed. Personally I prefer the plantation course, but this one is right up there too.
Goose Pond Lake
Course has a great layout. Tees and fairways were in nice condition, greens were still healing from aeration but rolled nice and fast. There’s a couple blind tee shots, and you’ll have to shape the ball a little. Personally I enjoyed the plantation course more but this one is right there close.
Great Place to Play
Great course - great staff. 3rd party online reservations didn’t work out, but Jackie got us out on time anyway. Great place to play, and not a bad drive at all from Huntsville.
Good, wide open course.
Have been playing this course for several years. Usually play on weekdays. No waiting on tee box or fairway. Course is in best shape I have seen in past several years. Bermuda is starting to grow on fairways and greens are in excellent shape. Pro shop closed as is typical for COVID-19 precautions. Great deal with Golfnow.
Always interesting
Always a great place to play golf, plus great value
Always interesting
Great value....great Course with excellent greens
Never again
No carts, I was told it could be an hour past my tee time, I asked for a rain check and was denied.
No carts
Wait time for a cart wa over an hour from Ted time booked, course would not give me a rain check since I booked on Golf Now. Cannot cancel on Golf Now, and edit time to call into Golf Now is over 3 hours on their recording. I will lot go bank to that course and I will not use Golf Now any longer.
Hidden gem, diamond in the rough.
I've played the plantation course 3 times in about 30 days. The greens , the greens, The Greens. All that can be done to improve them is for all the lazy players to FIX YOUR BALL MARKS, I know you can get excited actually hitting the green , but please FIX YOUR BALL MARKS!. Due to the wet weather not slot of fairway/ rough maintenance can be done. Some muddy areas . Lift ,clean, place in the fairway is the way to play/keep Pace , enjoy. If you're in the rough, Well practice more! Lol. If you want to increase speed of play, more yardage marker please. I have a Bushnell but a clear plackerd mark or # on sprinkler heads would be awesome. Playing again today, God and weather permitting.
