Golden hills
The course was in very good conditions. It just opened again from reseeding it was cartpath only the pace of play was a good pace and the condition of the course is in very good condition. I do recommend trying it if you have not played here before.
The course needs some love
I have been playing here for more than 27 years. Course has deteriorated to the lowest conditions over the last 5 years. The entire facility is not being kept and it looks terrible. Bunkers with no sand, greens were spotty at best. Some fairways were good but surrounded by dirt on both sides. I paid for 18 holes, but left after 9 holes very disappointed. This used to be one of my favorite courses in Mesa, but it has gone downhill. I played it because I couldn’t believe some of the reviews, but now I inow
JUNK
This place could be Decent if someone cared!!! There was not a starter, we got pushed back 15 minutes to start!! It took 20 minutes to finally get a second shot off. As we were walking to our carts, this BOZO old man YELLS at us, if you don't stay on the cart path, I will kick us out of here. No hey guys can you use the 90-degree rule? The course has as much dirt as grass. There was no need to say anything like a JERK!! They weren't in the middle of re-seeding!! Just a total D-HEAD trying to act like he had some authority. This place is a JOKE. We played 12 holes in 4 hours and finally left the course!!! Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at any course!!!
Great value
The new management is trying to bring this course back. This is a great summer value. I enjoy playing here. The staff is amazing.
Great experience!
First time golfing this course and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, friendly service and great course layout. The greens and fair ways are very well maintained and overall the vibe was great, will definitely be coming back soon!
Friendly staff, fair price, nice conditions
Just wanted to say that the gentleman in the golf shop was super nice, the gentleman working the cart barn was very friendly and personable, and the cart girl was very accommodating. Even golfed with the head of the course Ken and had a great time on the back 9. I will definitely be coming back here.
never again
the management is running this course into the ground, and a name change will not help it maybe fire everybody and start over at the pro shop people are very rude and seem to be misinformed and like to talk cr^& about the other staff right in front of the customer. thought I would give it one more try but still have the same stuff going on bye bye
Fun day
First time playing the course. Great layout. Staff was nice. Pete in the golf shop was great. Gracie on the beverage cart was very friendly. Can’t wait to come back and play again.
Just ROUGH!
Greens were ripped up on at least 60% of the greens. Patchy and brown spots, looked like untreated fungus. Several fairways had standing water or puddling and a really bad smell. The bright spot was being able to finish the round in about 4hrs. Price was cheap so I felt ok being outside getting some exercise. Mgmt needs to really think about how to renew this course, because a name change alone isn't going to cut it.
Serve me in the future?? I would only go play there again for free!!! I Paid $210 for three players. Didn't get to finish, we were there for 4 hours. Got harassed by the old cart guy. How about you offer a better experience and a free round!!!
