Arizona Golf Resort & Event Center

Arrived at 530 for a 6am tee time and no staff member available to check in with and get small bucket of range balls. No starter and random non non golfer riding around on cart drinking and heckling at various tee boxes. Fairway is in terrible condition on all 18 holes. Greens are green in color but very poor condition. Will not be coming back.

Greens were great. Tee boxes were marginal. No fairway grass at all. Very disappointing fairway conditions. $30.00 dollars is too much for this course.

greens and fairways were horrendous. as much hardpan as green and a lot of ares we're just burned out.

What you would expect for az summer golf. Very dry and minimally maintained but if you can get it for 10 bucks good to go play whack.

Course conditions weren’t great but during Arizonas summer that’s expected. Fun and challenging course though.

With it being 110 and dry, fairways understandably a bit dried out. Greens and collars in good shape. Definitely a great deal and quick play.

The course is desert dry everywhere played on fathers day so whatever but there was a 6 sum infront of me so i just kinda messed around replayed holes after skipping some people. they dont care what goes on here. i wouldnt play it again for free honestly though

Literally ugly beat up tee boxes, dirt fairways, decent greens. One of my worst golf experiences after playing in the valley for the last 10+ years

I had a tee time before 6AM and was very surprised to see 5 groups at the first tee waiting to tee off. Not sure how it could have been so backed up with the first tee time starting at 5:04. We teed off 40 minutes past our tee time...not a good start.

Apparently they are having some kind of issue with their irrigation system. All of the fairways were brown with no green grass in sight. The greens, tee boxes and about 10~20 yards of the approach were okay, but the rest of the course was dead. It would have been nice to have known that before booking.

Showed up to play this course only to find out the course hasn’t been watered in weeks. Everything was dry and unplayable. And they had a tournament that was late and our tee time was 7:52 - and the tournament didn’t allow us to tee off until after 8:30

Will never come back to play this course again

Course/ play management was sub-par to say the least. 10+ groups stacked up waiting to tee off at 6 am

Supposedly the irrigation "pumps" were broken and all fairways were basically dust and dirt. Not worth the price of admission and the restaurant was not open at 9 am for food at the turn. Only positive of the round was the beverage cart had beer.

Do better Arizona Golf Resort

The positive, with the fees, the green fees was only $15.00. The cart girl was friendly and informative. The greens were in decent shape. The negatives, the predominantly dirt only fairways. The smell of stagnant water and sewage around the bathrooms. No Marshall to help with pace of play. A 16 ounce domestic beer should not be $7.00. A bottle of powerade should not be $5.00. Overpriced. Sometimes in life, less is more. Finally, this course should state on any website that the current condition of the course is less than idle. Other courses in AZ have green grass on the fairways. Be honest with the public and perhaps your reviews won't be as negative.

I went to the Arizona Golf Resort by myself to play 18 holes because of the cost. You can't play nine holes anywhere for 13.00. I paired up with a couple of other locals who came for the same reason. Play was very slow but we made the best of it. I think if this place could be updated to provide watered fairways it could be a really nice course,

Can’t beat 18 holes for $15 but At the same time, you can’t expect it to be lush and green. I knew what I was getting into and I was pumped to play this track. It was too ‘hot’ by some peoples standards but that’s when it’s the best, not many people on the course, got to play at my own pace. Would come back

Fairways are dirt. Honestly greens aren’t bad. Tee boxes are mid. Lotta blind tee shots. You get what you pay for

This place isn’t worth it if it were free. Absolutely no fairways to speak of. Hit the ball where the fairways should be and it’s all hard pan, dead winter grass, and holes from being punched who knows when. Tee boxes are all junk. Hacked up, not mowed. Greens were at or just below average for time of year. That was the only plus to the course. Clubhouse had no AC at all. Went in to buy a bucket of range balls, $16.95….. what a joke!! Go somewhere else. Sad, this use to be a pretty decent course to play in the summer.
