Great experience
Decided on a last minute round while staying in Mesa. Lots of courses around but this was a good value and had some early morning tee times available. Pace of play was excellent and finished in under 3 hours as a single. Greens were great and course was in good shape. Loved the back 9 set up and views. Not terribly difficult course but some challenging holes. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
So much potential.
No range. Bag drop looks like it was built by a 3rd grader. Tee boxes were not moved from previous day. Greens were bumpy. Has some good views. Layout was cool with some short corky par 4’s & tee shots you may have to switch up b/c of dog legs & danger. 2 beverage carts was a nice surprise. Ranger was cool. Had a great time, but this course has potential to be so much nicer if it was just maintained better.
How does this deserve a 4 rating...
Blind holes without info where to hit etc. Uninformed on construction on hole 2 where if you got left will end up in this site. The 200 yard par 3 on front nine with condos encroaching both sides of fairway should be 165 yards at most. All these condos are in the line of fire for slices and hooks of the tee. Saw Marshal on hole 3 and never again. Caught up with 4some on 9 who played slowly. They weren't PGA players but played slow like them. Greens speeds were inconsistent at best. Tee boxes were bit scrappy. This course is not worth it's rate so play somewhere else plus the ar 4s that were cart path only made no sense as they were firm. Beverage cart came by lots but the price of $10 beer is horrendous when I can by 12 pack for $15. What a joke.
Pace of play
Very very slow called the golf shop and they did nothing!!. Only played 15 holes
Super fun
Great, challenging course. Beautiful layout, and epic view at 18 overlooking the whole valley.
Targeting super important on this one, very few driver opportunities for long drivers. Fairways and greens in excellent condition. By myself, 6am tee. Played through a couple groups, finished round in under 3 hours. Will definitely play again.
Golf is Great, Food caused illness
I have been playing at the AZ Grand for years, and enjoy the course and staff. I was treating a customer out, and we had lunch after the round. I actually became deathly ill from the lunch I had, and will be reaching out to them directly to address this.
Thinker’s Course
Keep your driver in the bag on most holes. Lots of lay-ups and dog legs even from the back tees. Greens are good.
Really nice staff!
Arizona Grand Resort
The golf course was great. Very challenging layout and the views were spectacular. The staff were very nice too.
Great course
Course makes great use of the terrain. Imaginative and challenging holes. Well worth the visit.
Nice, challenging course !

Bad conditions
There was construction on the course and know one advised us of that.
