Good course
Good course usually. Condition of the course was a little brown probably because it was going to be over seeded shortly. Greens seemed to be good. Pace of play better than many times in the past. Staff friendly.
Very poor couse conditions
The course was in very poor condition. Thin fairways, lousy aprons, horrible sand trap conditions, fair greens. etc. Will not play again under these circumstances.
Love El Conquistador……
But, as it’s that time of year for overseeding & renovation work, the course is probably in its worst condition in all the years I’ve played it. Understandable, as the Canada course is closed and they’ve stopped watering/maintaining this side.
Pace of play was good on front nine, but came to a standstill on the back nine, with 2-3 groups backing up on the tee box. Bunkers were hard with very little sand. The staff is always great & they are doing their best in light of the circumstances. Lastly, I’m all for courses making money & covering expenses, but they’re a bit overpriced considering course conditions.
Course
Course is beat up. Probably left that way since over seeding start next week 10/9. No other complaints
Pace of play a bit slow
Took 2.5 hours to play front nine, waiting on all tee boxes and on fairways. I usually enjoy this course quite a bit, but yesterday, I bailed after nine.
Will be back because I like the course, and hopefully pace of play will improve.
On course cart rep
Drink cart more interested in chit chat with 4 some in front of us. Twice, took at least 10-15 mins after they left the hole and preventing us from hitting into the green, to chit chat - assume for larger tip.
Great Golf Facility
Nice desert layout, full ProShop and nice restaurant. Good job!!
Course conditions
Course needs some work but enjoyed the round ! We will be back !
Great Value for the Money
Really nice people, friendly staff and a great course for the money..the course condition was really good.
A beauty after redo!!
Course was superb after the renovation, greens great, fairways good! BTW it doesn’t require masks and the driving range is open! Great for $40!!
Very nice course, Great staff!
Well... the course looked better than my game, which was still better than a day at work!
Inexpensive 9 holes
Grabbed a really cheap early afternoon tee time as my wife and I can not do 18 in this heat. Although an 18 hole greens fee only played 9.
Excellent maintained course after new irrigation system installed. Highly recommend play
Great course. Great value.
As golf ⛳️ is religious in these parts. Conquistador is a blessing. $30 for 18 holes. Guys to load your clubs. Ball washer and club washer with ice cooler on cart. Best value in Oro Valley/Tucson
