Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

The course has a nice layout and the greens are fast and true, however on this hot (100+) morning the fairways, approaches and low spots were all soggy and difficult to hit consistent shots off of. But on the other hand the greens were firm and difficult to hold. I understand the need to protect the course on such hot days with heavy watering, but nonetheless it made for difficult playing conditions. Would certainly play here again...

Fun track. Must hit your approach shots well to score. Greens were quick. Bermuda rough was punishing.

Tore ankle up on a hill and the team took great care of me as the swelling was large and painful. Ryan went way over and above in doing all he could to make sure I was as comfortable as possible.

I live very close to TPC sawgrass for a few years and played there all the time. At TPC Scottsdale, Our carts tire was flat on 4th whole. Called club house multiple times with no answer (I get it’s busy) we let messages. Saw ranger on 5th green, told him, he radioed in that we needed a new cart to hole 6, they didn’t bring us a cart, on 7 green we saw cart girl, same thing, she radioed the pro shop, they said they’d bring one right out. Walking the last few holes isn’t a big deal, it’s the principle of this is a TPC. You’d never see this happen at TPC Sawgrass.

Staff was great upon our arrival and it continued at the snack bar, the starter and when we finished when they cleaned our clubs!

Excellent course kept in great condition to play for the right price.

Courtesy range balls were an excellent surprise, ice chest was filled and 2 water bottles provided, they also keep plenty of water coolers out on the course. I wish more courses would do this, specially with the summer heat.

Probably the best trained staff in the valley. Course was in excellent shape, although the greens were a little slower than I remover. That was probably due to the excessive heat right now.

Tee boxes were good. Fairways and greens were spotty with too much bare dirt patches.

We were the first group out so we played in 3.5 hrs - very nice. It is an enjoyable course that is well maintained and has a good layout. The jets flying overhead is the only annoying part. Staff is definitely at a TPC level.

Layout is simple enough yet you feel like each hole stands alone. Bordered perfectly with grass ending and desert rock beginning. Specifically placed floral to accentuate each hole gives a little different feel on each one, for example a 20 foot tall cactus at one par three versus brightly colored flowers at another tee box.

The wildlife is so used to humans they just lay there as you hit your next shot. The birds will constantly fly into your golf cart and take your food if you're not there to prevent them.

Not a fan of not being able to drive the golf cart into the desert rocks, but I get it, don't want to tear up the carts.

Staff came by with wet cold towels.

Great halfway house at the turn.

I expected a larger, more diverse and expansive driving range but it was adequate.

Book an afternoon round at the lower price point. Not as many golfers. I'm a single and it took 2 hours, 10 minutes with me slowing down and enjoying the final 3 holes.

First time playing the stadium course. Was blown away with the service and staff at the course. For mid July with it being 100+ these past few months, the course was in great condition. Would highly recommend getting in for a twilight round. Saved some money and wasn’t as brutal in the heat. Would come back and play in a heartbeat

Worth every penny. Fantastic service, great conditions, and overall a fantastic experience. Will play again.

TPC Scottsdale Stadium course lived up to the hype today. Greens were the best I've seen anywhere course was in impeccable shape. I just wish I could olay it a few more times. Looks way different without the grandstands everywhere, especially the famous #16 par 3, but still tons of fun. Top rate care from the staff made it that much better.
