TPC Scottsdale has earned a host of honors, including a spot among the top three Arizona golf facilities for service and among the "Top 50 Golf and Resort Destinations in the World," the latter by no less than Conde Nast Traveler.
The Champions Course at TPC Scottsdale sits where the Desert Course did, but offers the thrills of golfing a new course, this one designed by architect Randy Heckenkemper, who did his best to fit the new golf course into the untouched desert land that surrounds it.
The Champions Course at TPC Scottsdale rivals its better-known sibling golf course, the Stadium Course, with all the good looks and good golf one might expect in the Scottsdale area.

Great value.
Great value. Better than most courses that are twice the price. Friendly staff. Pace of play was surprisingly good. Will definitely put it on our 'will play again list'.

Simply the best
I’ve played a dozen scottsdale courses and this one ranks among the best for overall value and quality. CNt go wrong with Champions.
Like it better than it’s famous cousin
Really enjoyed the Champion’s course. The entire staff were fantastic. To the guys who greeted me to the on course ambassador to the lady who worked @ the bar. Loved the golf course and enjoyed it a lot better than the Player’s course.
Dry Beds
The dry beds of crushed rock were very damaging to my clubs. I don't mind dry beds but not fully and deeply rock covered.
Good and fun round. Great course, bunkers ok.
Was excited to play and we did have a blast. Course was in good shape, bunkers could be better. Marshalls constantly keeping track of pace of play. We did have to wait at most tee boxes but it was a saturday morning. Funny we got told a few times to increase our pace but would just end up waiting at a tee box...not to too long but still waiting. Liked the course and will play again.
TPC Champions Course - Best quality course for the Money in Scottsdale
My Wife and I had a great time last week playing the TPC Champions course. We had played the Stadium course 13 years ago, and felt the Champions course was the better of the two courses. Not to mention for $119.00 green fee at 9:30 am in the morning in mid April is by far the best value for the money of a high quality course in Scottsdale area. The course was in excellent condition. Greens were perfect. Running quite fast. A few tough back corner pins positions but that added to the challenge. We also enjoyed watching the Private Jets landing at the adjacent airport. All the staff from Bag check-in, starter, marshals, restaurant, and Proshop were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend TPC Champions course to anyone visiting Scottsdale.

Not what we expected
Certainly I’d not meet our expectations for a TPC course. Very slow play, understaffed on course. Might play stadium cause next time but will not play champions unless major improvements are made. Too many better options in the valley.

My Wife and I had a fantastic time playing TPC Scottsdale Champions course. We had played the Stadium course many years ago We both felt the champions course is the better of the two courses.
All the staff were excellent. From bag drop, starters , Marshall’s, and clubhouse staff. The entire facility and proshop are top notch. Course was in excellent condition. Greens were perfect and running quick.
We also enjoyed watching the many private jets landing at the adjacent airport during our round. TPC Champions course is the best quality course for the money you will play in the Scottsdale area. We highly recommend!
