Hotel with history behind it!! Photo submitted by Shypoke55 on 04/22/2019
First Time
Course conditions were ok but space of play was brutal there was a fivesome ahead of us. Beverages were over priced.
Windy day
First time playing the course in 2020 after about six years or so nice friendly staff the course was in great shape greens were fantastic the sand traps around the greens were very Nice and soft very challenging track I would recommend to play in the morning without the wind very difficult with the wind The greens are in fantastic shape love the greens very true reads I’d recommend playing here for the price .
Slow play
Good course with too many tee times. Didn't feel the staff was concerned
Mediocre at best
We drove an hour and a half to get to this course because it was recommended by a friend. We were disappointed.
Great Product
Slow with snowbirds but a great course - longest in Arizona.
Gem
Did not know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. Pro shop staff were exceptional. Got paired up with a very nice guy who knew the course which helped. I would certainly had back with reasonable rates.
Challenge yourself
A good course to challenge your game. Tough greens but rewarding if you can hit it straight and long.
Good round
Course in good shape. Need to get rid of the couts as they are wrecking some of the greens
Loved this course
Haven’t played here in many years so really enjoyed playing here again. The course was beautifully manicured, greens groomed superbly. The course is very long and was wishing for a beverage cart several times. The pace was a bit slow due to a group a few holes in front of us who seemed to really be taking their time, but the day was beautiful on a great course. Can’t wait to be able to play here again and stay the night.
Great Layout
Great course, could use some improved maintenance. Wet/muddy in some areas.
Second time playing.
Course is in overall great shape. The greens are in much better condition than David White or Mission Royale with Mission's being horrible! Two twosomes and a threesome let off before our paired together foursome by about 25 minutes, in the frost, surprising. Still some frost when we went off about 8:15.
The only issue was a Marshall on 16 who showed up and said if we could hurry the best we could because they needed the carts..... We were right where we should have been... directly behind the group in front of us, we waited for them on 18 tee and green. I think they must need more carts. We finished about 11:50. Great course though!
Fun little course
This course gets an A+. Staff very friendly. Course was very fair yet challenging. Good mixture of long vs short holes and some trick water shots.
This course is awesome
Course is amazing second time playing and fun both times
Great course
Lots of standing water on the course. Really did not affect play, just something to be aware of.
