Great day at Eagle Mountain! Photo submitted by uOQDZ5699OQ on 09/26/2012
Really fun
It’s a nice change from the “kick your teeth in” desert courses in the area. Tough, but fair. Really loved the variety of Par 3’s. I played the green tees, and hit 7i, PW, 9i, PW, and 50°. Far more enjoyable than the usual 6i+ needed at most courses. Three par 5’s played downhill. Couple of short par 4’s. Greens were tough! Really fun round. Can’t wait to come back!
First off I booked through golf now. GN due at Course was 56.89. Because of GN credit of 2.49. Eagle Mountain did not honor that plus I was charged a 2 dollar water fee that did not show up on GN billing.
I live along the course. Have played it many times. The greens were slow but in fair to good condition. I like the layout especially since the sand traps were improved last year. The fairways are marginal condition with dead spots and fresh sodded areas. Many areas over watered and mushy. Early last year the greens were lost and fairways in rough shape.
Sloooooooowwwww
I love the course but since when is 5 plus hours an acceptable pace of play!!! Literally waited every shot from 1st tee to the 18th!! Horrible experience …
Nice course
Course was in great shape, practice range is in good shape. Played in 4 hours. Pro shop help were great and helpful. Greens are so hard to read. Will play again soon
Great shape
I love this course. Lots of up and downs and the greens make me crazy. So hard to read. Ask of those I came into contact with were friendly and helpful.
Great course
Fun, beautiful and challenging. Fairways a little dry. Would be nice if they had a beverage cart. Otherwise a great experience.
Great course with the best staff
We play many courses throughout the USA and belong to a private country club, and our foursome all commented that this was the most friendly and conscientious employees we have ever experienced . It started with the friendliness of the pro shop, and throughout the day we have friendly rangers who did a great job of keeping pace yet took time to be friendly with us and make us feel welcome. This carried through with the beverage cart ladies all the way to the stafff cleaning our clubs and helping to the car. I’m not normally a person to write reviews but thus was great… and we played Troon, Grayhawk and TPC this week as welll
Challenging but Fun
Great dessert mountain course. Lots of variation with elevation. Very interesting layout with a few blind tee shots requiring a high degree of accuracy. Greens are undulated and guarded by deep traps. Very appealing views. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
Pricy but nice course
First time ever playing here. Yes, it is a little pricey but wanted to try it out anyway. Great views of the surrounding area. Teeboxes needed a little work, especially the par threes with all of the divots. Fairways were nice, bunkers were nice, and the greens were a little slow but otherwise in good condition. Just need to teach people how to fix ball marks. Pace of play was good as well. I must’ve seen three different marshals throughout the day.
