Lots of bunkers
Course is fair and fun. Wide fairways. Lots of bunkers and are deep which is unique. Greens a little bumpy with the summer grass.
Great Day
Our first time on the Palmer Course, we’ve played the Faldo in the past. My wife and I played without anyone joining us. The course was in great shape, and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery.. We played in 3 hours. The tees, bunkers,,and greens were excellent. The staff were great also.
Great layout
I played the Palmer course that the greens were punched 3 weeks ago. Still a little bumpy but veru playable. The course is in great shape and considering this course is over $200 in season a great time to enjoy it. Water every other hole and cold scented towels at the turn.
I could play here everyday
Summer golf
The course was in great shape, greens had been punched some time ago, could see the marks but the greens rolled true. My only complaint would be the beverage cart was doing last call at 11:45, I know there weren't a ton of golfers out but that seems a bit early to me.
Great Time !
Excellent staff, course was in excellent condition and the pace of play was great.
Hot but fun
Excellent. Tons of sand traps but avoidable for the most part with proper strategy. Greens in good shape and not super fast. Only downer was lack of marshalling on course to move the pace. We played the front nine in a little over 90 minutes, but took twice that time on the second because of some really slow groups.
Fun Course
It is always a pleasure to play at any Marriot golf course and this one was no exception. Everything was in great shape and the course was challenging, but fair. I will definitely be back.
Wildfire - Palmer Course
Would play this course again, Note: Aerification of Greens just completed so greens were slow and bumpy that balls seem to roll on Stimpmeter around 6-7.
Outstanding
I played the Palmer course. It's ideal for golfers who excel at targeting their shots. The only drawback was that the putting greens had been aerated, making it challenging to gauge the speed and break.
The Palmer course, Extremely poor Green conditions,
The Greens had been airiated. They were unputtable and left in extremely poor conditions. The sand was totally not swept off the greens.
While I received a discount, l was not expecting the sandy conditions of the greens. There were small mounds of sand though out the 18 holes.
I just moved to this area and live across the street from the golf course. In keeping with Marriott normally high premium standards, the Palmer course should have been closed.
Sandy greens
This course is an extremely nice, great conditioned course except the greens. I have never seen so much sand on the greens. I don't know why there was so much sand, I assume it's for conditioning, but this amount was absurd. When the ball landed on the green, it splashed sand. This pretty much makes putting ridiculous.
