Nice layout and good condition!
This a good golf course (Palmer). Easy to play and wide fairways where you need them :-).
Weird round of golf
We had multiple people driving backwards on the course without looking where we’re going. There was a group in front of us literally driving across greens in golf carts and marshal didn’t see an issue. Course conditions were good. Greens were rolling great but there were several fairways that were sandy. Course was nice but does not compare to other top notch courses in the valley.
Back 9 closed
Was to play Faldo course. Played front 9 then directed to Palmer course front 9 to finish round.
Palmer/Faldo combination
Played the back nine of the Palmer course followed by the front nine of Faldo. Really like both courses but Faldo marginally more. Both were in great shape and the staff is very accommodation. Played as a 3 some and finished in 3 hours. Pricey but worth it.
A favorite course
Marriott always has great hospitality and excellent conditions. I love playing here. Greens were fast, fairways pristine and weather perfect. It’s a narrow course with lots of trouble left and right, so if you spray the ball, bring plenty of balls.
Great summer golf
Course is in great shape. Love the layout. Staff pretty friendly.
Skip it for now.....
Booked Faldo course and found out from starter that back 9 on both courses are closed due to bunker renovations. ended up playing Faldo front and Palmer front...UGH I am not a bid fan of the Palmer course........will not be back until all 18 holes are open.....
3 Hour Round - early out and in
I played as a twosome at the 6:30a time slot. Per Arrcos - I completed the round in 2:58. Was it great shape and a fun course.
Wildfire-Palmer
Nice course, good layout, starting at the JW Marriott and snaking it’s way through houses and condos. The houses aren’t to close in most areas which gives it a good feel/experience. Staff was nice and helpful. Went out as a single with a cart. They let me go earlier than my tee time to get ahead of a 3-some. I finished 18 in 2.5 hours.
Phoenix Gem
On a perfect weather day, had the facility pretty well too myself. Was paired up with another single and we never saw another golfer all round. The summer monsoon rains have made the course in great shape. Fantastic value to play a course of this caliber in the summer, but with Spring weather. Great day!
