Bring Sherpa guide to help from greens to cart
Have played Camelback padre 10 yrs ago enjoyed the course, Ambiente not so much, nothing against links layout but for craps sake many long walks from where I park ur cart to the green, I was tired just walking back and forth from cart to green and back, way to far away, it ruined our day
Good times!
The starter was an extremely friendly man from Connecticut. The man in the pro shop, cart woman and woman in the bar were kind as well. The course was very well kept and I had a very nice round. I had never played Padre before but had played their other course. A very wonderful facility I will visit again.
Canadian golfer
Course was in great shape for end of June. Some thin spots on fairways not to many, greens where in great shape will play again this week!!
Must play course in Scottsdale, AZ
This is a long links style course. You can't go wrong playing Camelback courses. Great summer rate and not many people. Water station every hole gets you hydrated during rounds. I had a blast playing all by myself and shooting 76 from blue. The starter was a true gentleman. If you are in Scottsdale or Pheonix area, book yourself a round of golf here.
Value value value
Top 3 course in the valley for value. Always a pleasure playing Ambiente!

Sneaky challenging, but most holes were straight forward. Did a nice job on remodeling. Greens were very nice but tricky.
WOW! What a day!
Our group absolutely loved playing Camelback Padre. Had 8 of us out for mid-morning tee times and I cannot express how friendly the staff was, how cool the course layout was, and how much fun we had at the restaurant after. Top notch club all around. Our group will be back and we’re thankful to the staff for enhancing our experience!
Fairways were fast and so was the round.
Went out as a threesome around 11:20am and made it back to clubhouse before 2:30.
Greens still had the slightest indication that they had been punched recently, but they rolled out well, but were not as fast as I anticipated. All things considered, the course played well.
Hopes were high… and catfished
When coming to this course after seeing so many great reviews we were somewhat disappointed with what we got. Pros of this course were that it was in good shape (besides the aerated greens) and people were very nice with lots of small amenities. Pace of play was also very solid. Cons of this course were that every hole was pretty much the same and the scenery just never stood out. At the end of the day the price was just way too high for an average course. Having aerated greens is something that happens but we showed up without warning and paid in full.
We had previous played Las Sendas the day before and thought that course outperformed this one in almost every category for 50 dollars less.
It was not a bad experience and the course was in good shape but I guess we were just expecting more with some of the reviews we had seen.
My father in law who is not a nice reviewer says “Catfish ?”
Hard to pass if you can get a hot deal course is amazing as always
