Historic JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn dates back to 1936 and is set on 125 acres at the base of Camelback Mountain. This 425-room and suite property in a pueblo-style features a spa, tennis courts, heated outdoor pools, garden terraces and desert hiking trails. Camelback Golf Club features two 18-hole courses, the Padre (designed by Arthur Hills) and Ambiente (by Dana Fry and Jason Straka). In addition to these championship courses, there is also a small pitch 'n putt golf course onsite. Dining is highlighted by Lincoln Steakhouse & Bar, while Rita's Cantina & Bar is more casual with a southwest flair. Spa and poolside dining is also available. The golf club has American cuisine at Acacia. Spacious guest rooms feature outdoor living spaces and kitchenettes. Onsite car rental is available as well as 127,500 square feet of meeting space is available for large groups.Facts

Course great shape and staff was very accommodating. Great time with 3 hr 40 min round with foursome.
Course was nice and was done in 3:40 playing as foursome behind another foursome!
Padre was in great shoe and the staff was awesome. Just jumped out of a plane with travel case and the guys down by the bag area took the case and other backpack for me and I hopped on course to play. The course had a good mix of easier and harder holes and would be great for groups with a mix of skills. #17 was toughest Par 3 tee shot I have faced in a long time!
Too hot? Nope, lots of shade.
The course was in great shape today. It gets plenty of water and the fairways were lush and the rough was green and plentiful. Ball rolled well on the greens which were also in great shape. Plenty of shade around to keep you cooler while the sun beats down this summer.
Interesting layout
Aprons are too soft. They are mowed to allow links style bump and run but are too soft.
Had to follow a shotgun start tournament. Very slow for 9 holes.
Don’t know what a high demand price per round is, but playing this time of year, by FAR, best value in the area!
Excellent Course, fun morning
Friendly staff, quick off the tee for fast round but with lots of time to line up shots. Course in good condition and fun layout. Will be back, great value.

Enjoyed but u feel I hit every bunker out there. Long course too.
Great track, course was in excellent condition, had one of the best hotdogs before our round, will be back, friendly staff.

Tee boxes and fairway great condition, greens in good condition still coming back from getting punched but still rolled great just not 100% like 85 lol! I’ll be back love it there
I play a couple times a month and shot an 80 from the white tees (6400 yards). Good views and friendly staff with good course conditions made for a good time. Fun course all the way around but not overly challenging
