Nice round and scenic
The course conditions were very good. The greens are hard and difficult but fair.
We happened to catch views of local wildlife in the middle of Paradise Valley. Coyote, bobcat, wild boar and a pair of gold eagles. Pretty cool.
Very friendly staff
Played the Padre course with some very nice members. Course was in decent shape. Layout was ok, nothing particularly noteworthy though for the price. $300 for the round was a bit steep for just an average Layout though in my opinion. Staff were great though, cart girl came by regularly and was also very friendly. I'd say staff and practice areas are highlight of the club.
Municipal At Best
For what they charged this wasn’t a good value. The course is municipal quality at best.
Great time
Course beautiful designed. Fairways excellent. First time playing here and the greens held and putt well.
Camelback Golf Resort
We enjoyed our round. The fairways and greens were in very good shape especially for January. A few of the holes and greens were very challenging so be forewarned. Enjoyed having a snack cart, too. Restrooms were positioned well.
New Years Round
The course was in beautiful shape and bounced back extremely well after some issues last year with conditions... the staff is SUPER- friendly and accommodating. I always try to bring guest here as the course layout, conditions, views and staff are all one of my favorites in AZ
A nice example of renovation that doesn’t go overboard
Out-and-back golf course routings are typically associated with the coastal links of Scotland, Ireland and England, but Ambiente sends golfers on a northwest-then-southeast journey along two miles of Scottsdale’s Indian Bend Wash. Architect Jason Straka’s 2013 renovation added some much needed sense of lateral flow to what were previously mostly straightaway par 4s and 5s, hemmed in by the unusual dimensions of the property. Clever fairway bunkering and the angling of greens give golfers the urge to work several tee shots and approaches in one direction or another. Homes run between wash and homes without ever feeling cramped. The Facilities are excellent and the staff are world-class in graciousness.
Great condition, great pace of play. Greens rolled great fast and true.
Ambiente is a solid track was in great shape and very fairly priced for in season golf.
