Camelback Golf Club
First time playing this course, it had very good reviews. We enjoyed our round a little bit slow than normal, but for this time of year, all the teetimes were pretty much booked, but the pace of play was not horrible. We really enjoy the layout of the course it kind of goes through a little neighborhood so it’s very nice to see some of the housing here. Have views of the mountain area and of course, views of Camelback Mountains as well. Great time.
We gave ourselves 4:30 minutes to squeeze our round in, but with 10 minute tee times, pace of play became a huge issue. I understand that pace can be hard for a course to control, but 10 minute intervals are not something I can support for a $160 course if you're not going to actively manage pace of play.
Fabulous course in amazing condition
I would have given this course five stars all around after my experience yesterday however, with it being cart path only the experience was diminished a bit. Overall very pleased and the round was played in exactly 4 hours which was great! Great day to celebrate great golf followed by great election results!
Course is overrated
Course was okay but definitely overpriced. Fairways and close to green shots were muddy with soft grass. Value for $ here is not great. Likely won't be back.
Nice course
Well maintained course that is wide open from the tee. Views are great but less elevation change from other courses I’ve played in Scottsdale.
Good value at Padre!
Camelback provides excellent customer service, some discounted deals through TeeOff/Golf Now, and my husband and I love playing here. The driving range and practice areas are great, and the range balls are included. The Padre course was cart path only, but this is expected this time of year, and played well after the overseeding.
Very disappointed
Course would be OK if green fee was around $59.00. Way overpriced compared to other more upscale courses.
Fine course
Even though it was cart path only from overseeding course was in great condition and greens were smooth and true
Bachelor Party on the Golf Course
We spent a lot of time waiting for the group ahead. The ranger, who was very pleasant, said that he tried to move them ahead, but that there was nothing else he could do, as they were part of a bachelor party. At one point, he asked them if we could skip ahead of them, into the two hole gap they created, and they said no. I told him he should make them skip a hole or two to catch up, and he said that had to come form the golf shop. Between pace of play and music blaring from golf carts, it was like playing goofy golf.
Freindly, staff..
Just out of over seeding and the course plays great!
The outside staff were great and were very pleasant.
Cart path only at this time of year is common after over seeding , so made for more walking for us higher handicapers! All in all a great experience!
Great shape right before oversee
Solid track with great service and good pace of play. Course was in great shape considering they were starting oversee the next day. If you can go when it is not busy the pace of play is great.
