Great experience
I really enjoy playing this course. Great layout, condition and food/drink options. Everyone is very friendly as well.
Look forward to playing again here soon!
Crazy Hot
Orange Tree is a fun course. I enjoy the traditional lay out, mature trees and wall to wall grass. It's a great value. The only downside I can share is that the driving range tee condition is terrible, dead grass etc.
Good time had
Staff very friendly. Decent layout for the course. Some rough areas in the fairways due to summer. Greens were slightly long so they rolled slow. Overall would play here again.
Don’t waste your money
This course is in terrible condition and is definitely not worth the $70 summer rate. There are plenty of other courses in the area that are in better condition. Unfortunately it seems as though COVID has prompted these courses to charge much higher rates than in past summer months. Very frustrating as a local resident that supports these properties all year round.
Fairways were thin or just dirt.
Greens were extremely bumpy. you couldn't keep a ball on line
Worst condition I’ve seen
Fairways and greens were in awful condition. Fun course to play if it wasn’t in such bad shape
Dog Track
I have played Orange Tree many times of the last several years, really enjoyed the course. This time it was horrible and in the worst shape I have ever seen it. This time of year the course should be in great shape like all the other courses. The tee boxes and fairways had little grass, the greens were aerated and covered in sand..
I like the course - fairways and greens need more time...
Greens are still bumpy and slow with a lot of sand. Played great two birdies and on number 17 eagle...
Bad
Bad condition, stacked tee times way too close together, didn’t disclose that greens were punched prior to the round, dirt everywhere even on the fairways
Call before you play
When we got to the course they told us they were aerating the greens which made them almost unplayable but they did not give us any kind of discount nor forewarning. Very disappointing and most of the sand traps were full of water. That being said the Course can be a lot of fun and has a lot of good shaded areas for play during the summer heat.
Staff was very friendly.
Right now not worth playing
The course was in pretty rough shape as the fairways or really burnt out and te greens or marginal at best.
Great course bring extra balls
Fun challenging golf course. Really great cheap drinks. Was a 3 1/2 hr round. Only problem was bunkers are shallow. Low bounce wedges are a must.
Not good shape
Paid $86 dollars for this round and the course is currently worth about a $20 to $30. The tee boxes are in horrible shape and the fairways have so many brown/dead areas that no fairway is free from this mess. They use a lot of water to hide the damage but now you are hitting from mud. So many of my shots ended up with me wearing a ton of mud after striking the ball. I do however love the message on the back of the cart from the GM, which stated something along the line of , this is normal for this time of year? Really? I have recently played so many courses in such great shape that this card on the back of the cart is an insult. Just tell us you are having problems, don’t make excuses and try to hide the dead areas on the fairways and greens by soaking them in water . The greens have a fungus and for the most part are not in good shape. I have played this course a lot and most of the time it really is in amazing shape but now, not so much so.
Not Worth Playing
Course was bad. Real burned out fairways & tee boxes. Greens were marginal (at best). Driving range resembled a cow pasture.
