Orange Tree - beautiful course
Beautiful, well maintained course. In excellent condition for this time of year.
Horrible bunkers
worst bunkers in the valley. No exageration! Can't believe I paid $80 bucks to play here.
Good course , average condition
Played for first time this past Sunday. Older course with everything in front of you, nothing hidden on the course. Tees, greens and fairway in good condition, not great. Bunkers were average or less and not well maintained.
Location is the biggest benefit versus a bucket list course.
Great Conditions!
Played in 4 1/4 hours. Great conditions for the season.
I recommend.
Great local course
I played the course the other day it was a pretty dog gone good shape the only complaint I have is the sand traps.
There was a few I got into on the front line that were pretty dog gone good but I’m the back nine I got into a couple more it was like rock although I saw the guys working on them I think they’re starting to improve them and they should be very good in the near future. Tee box, fareway even the rough was in good shape, greens were a little slow but that would approval overtime. I can’t saw enough about the staff as they are extremely friendly the people that take your money and the starter is just awesome to talk to as he gave me a few tips that really panned out for me.
Course is in great condition
Finished in 3 hours with very good course conditions from tee box to green!
Nothing Special
Orange Tree is an okay course but really nothing to write home about. After the round I couldn't think of one hole that stood out. They were pretty much all the same. Price would dictate if I would ever play this course again.
Glad I played in the off season where the price was pretty much commensurate with the quality of the course.
Great summer condition
The greens and fairways were in surprisingly good shape for early August!
Very good course conditions
The course was in excellent shape considering it is the middle of summer. We were fortunate to play in just over 2 hours.
Old school golf, plenty of trees, good greens
Surrounded by condos, Orange Tree has been around for a long time. I grew up in Phoenix and played this course many times. Trees line most fairways that are tightly packed in a small footprint. But the course does not feel crowded and each hole stands on its own. The 18th is a nice finishing hole that ends a pleasant round.
Great conditions for the summer
The course was in great shape considering other courses in the area and the extreme heat of the summer.
Absolutely no complaints about the condition of the tee boxes, fairways or greens. It was nice to have the cart person come around about 3 times. Played the round in about 3 hours. I'll definitely be back soon.
Played in afternoon great rate.
Course wasn’t that challenging. We played afternoon no one in front or behind us which was great. Bunkers were very hard may have rained recently? Good average course but value for money at summer rate.
Horrible t boxes and no staff
Nobody at golf shop upon arrival. Course was horribly maintained. Probably a staff problem.
Tight Fairways
The Staff was very friendly.
The pace of play was good for a busy Saturday.
There was only a handful of scabby greens. The greens were exrtremely slow from previous rainfall.
The bunkers were hardened and needed to be raked by the Greenskeeper.
There was only the morning Beer cart service and no afternoon service.
Overall, we had a great round.
