About Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort
The Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort is located in Phoenix, north of downtown and in easy access to the golf courses of Paradise Valley and North Scottsdale. It is an amenity of nextdoor Lookout Mountain Golf Club. The resort is set on over 400 acres and adjacent to North Mountain Park, which is home to outdoor activities. The hotel has 584 guest rooms including 28 suites up to 1200 square feet that come with a refrigerator and Hilton-brand Serenity bedding. There is a salon and spa as well as The Falls Village Phoenix Waterpark which has a 40-foot waterfall and 138-foot waterslide. There are four dining concepts highlighted by Different Pointe of View & Terrace Room Lounge, a AAA Four-Diamond restaurant. Lookout Mountain Golf Club opened in 1989 and was designed by Forrest Richardson. It has a full driving range and practice facility.Facts

People always complaining
Honestly some of you are insufferable. Stop being so dang critical for 44 dollars this course was absolutely gorgeous. The sand was a little stamped but other than that no issues was fun and a challenge. This course could charge more and I know their prices have gone down but all around great experience. Remember people a day golfing is better than a day not.
Great course for elevations
Enjoyed the course. 2nd time playing. Greens were a little shaggy. But a lot of interesting holes. Staff is as very friendly.

I don't like their policy to force two strangers to ride in the same cart. COVID is not over.
Thank you for taking the time to review Lookout Mountain Golf Club. Our rates do indicate that our fee's include the use of a "shared" golf cart. If you do not wish to share a golf cart, you can pay an extra fee of $25 to take your own. We look forward to seeing you again.

Lookout Mountain is exactly what other courses should be or think they are, but they are not.

Always fun
We play here often. Like many Valley courses in 2022, lack of rain has caused very dry conditions, yet the greens fees remain very high for summer golf conditions. Course needs some TLC. Carts are getting old and ragged. Bunkers are like concrete. Avoid the restaurant after your round. Food is decent, but service is lacking. The clubhouse and on course crew are always friendly.
Great course
We really enjoyed the course last week , so much we played it twice. The only down side was Mother’s Day no cart and the 1/2 way snack shop was closed which we didn’t find out before we were into our round and too late to load up on snacks and water But will return every year when we get down to Phoenix
Just okay
Rated as a top 10 course in the PHX area. More expensive than other more beautiful and fun courses. Not sure I would recommend or return.
Tough course. Course management is the key.
Course was tough, but fair. Looking at course layout tells you where to hit to. Without that, you could land in trouble. Pro shop guy not the friendlest, but everyone else extremely courteous.

would have given 5 stars if not for the greenside bunkers... next time I'll bring along my skateboard and ride em... hard as concrete!!
not sure why some comments mentioned lumpy greens - they rolled true and fortunately not too quick for those above the pins
ps. maybe ask foothills for some extra sand they have an over abundance in theirs
