The course was in great shape, and the scenery and views from holes 9 and 10 especially were beautiful. If you’re looking for a scenic desert course, this is the one for you!

The course was in beautiful condition! It was cart path only for carts that made it tiring and slower. Other than that it was a nice course!

First day the course was open after the overseeding and it wasn’t bad at all. Greens were a little furry, but the course is a fair layout and priced appropriately.

Definitely would recommend the course especially after a couple of weeks after this post. Staff was exceptional and friendly.

I was really pleased with the course, challenging yet fair. It was the first day it was open after overseeing, so the greens were understandably a little long and inconsistent.

Staff was top notch and very helpful. Pace of play was appropriate.

At first I was worried by the way the practice are looked. But I assume the management is starting here first for its transition to winter grass. It also is in need of so refurbishment. Things dramatically changed as I teed up on #1. Lookout is a course for those who want great views, a challenging layout that has great hole diversity and an old valley country club course feel. No two holes are the same. It has amazing variety which forces you to be able to hit every club in your bag. Almost all the par 5's are reachable in two for the average to above average drive but have the risk reward that makes them a challenge. Each par 4 is unique with varying distances, blind landings and quirky doglegs that force you think how you will attack the hole. The par 3's range from 230 to 125 but don't expect the shortness to make it easier. The layout winds through beautiful desert canyons with amazing views of the Phoenix valley as well as some iconic residences sharing those views with you. So many photo opportunities and elevated tee boxes the make you wish for a bucket of range ball to unload.

The overall view of the course is a little rough but the course itself is pretty great. Fun place but be sure to use your course map. You need some good course management.

This course , fairways and greens are in very good condition. The pace of good and the staff was very friendly; I would highly recommend.

Fairways and greens in very good condition for late August in the Valley. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Resort tournament was very slow in front of us.

I would play again, with acceptance, er tolerance, of many target-layout par 4s balanced by good conditions, fun par 3’s and accessible risk/reward par 5’s.

The course was in fantastic shape from Tee to Green.

Course is beautiful and in great shape. Lots of desert carry off the tees, hit it straight or you'll be visiting the rattlers in the desert....

For mid August, course in very good shape. Greens in decent shape, held well. Lots of cool views from many tee boxes.
