I played Lookout Mountain again today - the 3rd time since it reopened after overseeding - and continue to be very pleased with the course. It's cart path only for a few more weeks, but the walking is not too bad. Due to the elevation changes on many holes and sloping fairways, you cardio conditioning might be challenged. It will likely be another 2 weeks or so before the course is in ideal condition, but you will not be disappointed right now. The fairways are lush and still being cut down, so your ball won't roll much. The greens are in great shape, but running slow, so you need to adjust your putting speed. Finally, as always, the customer service is excellent.

My only complaint was not having a discount for having to be cart path only because of overseeding. We did a lot of walking in a very hot day.

Golfed here back in July and was pleasantly surprised of the conditions of the course considering it being in the middle of summer.

This time I went out I was even more encouraged of the conditions after over seeding. The greens were a little slow (6-7); however, they rolled true. Fairways were in good condition, but I would say it plays pretty long as you don’t get as much roll compared to the summer. Overall this course is a gem for PHX.

Course is in great shape just coming out of overseed. Greens are a little slow as expected but overall the course is in awesome shape. Played two days in a row and both rounds completed in less than 3 1/2 hours.

Went the very first day after over seed. Gotta say, this course was absolutely stunning. The pace of play was slow, obviously, as were the greens. For being freshly over seeded, the greens actually ran much faster than many other courses. The views and elevations were shocking. I play Quintero quite often so I can appreciate some good golf views when I see them. Practice facility is kind of a joke, though. Their driving range is only about 220 yards deep which meant no driver or 3 wood practice for me. All in all, very lovely course. Not sure I would pay $90+ to play here again. $60-$70 is more the range, in my opinion. Still, very impressed with my round.

I played Lookout Mtn yesterday (a day before overseeding) and was pleasantly surprised on how good the conditions were the day before overseeding. The staff is always great but I think the course is going to be in amazing shape after overseed this year!

Severely Dried out and closing the next day for over seeding. Didn’t bother mentioning that when I booked. Was still $70. Not worth it. Much nicer courses for the same price. A few nicer for cheaper.
