Beautiful course, great condition.
Drove 1-1/2 hrs from Mesa just to experience a course I had never played before, and can't wait to get back there! Beautiful scenery, well thought out track, great conditions and very friendly staff. If this course was located in Scottsdale, they would be able to get $200/ round (just don't tell anybody, I enjoyed the 3 hours it took to play).
pleasantly surprised
the views and the course layout, make this well worth the drive. better be ready for a well maintained and a shot receptive course. would highly recommend this course to anyone. greens, fairways and rough in great shape. DON'T miss this course.
Los Caballeros G C
This course is one of the best in Arizona. It has everything.
great conditions and a great value
no complaints. the course was in great shape. staff couldn't have been more helpful. going back next week
Great shape
Staff super friendly, nice range, good fairways and great greens. Course got me a little but ill be back for sure.
Enjoyable day of golf
Very nice golf course for all golfers. Tee box to fit anyone. Staff very nice , clubhouse very pretty. Lots of ice and water if you want it. I will return to play there again.
Great condition
I have played this course many times. Very tough course. Most holes are on a plateau making pars or better very tough. Greens are turning but still very good. Drinks and beer a little pricey. Very nice club house.
Get a good price on GolfNow!
This course is a good drive from the Phoenix area, so unless you get a great GolfNow deal (which I did), I'm not sure it's worth it. The greens had been plugged about 10-14 days ago, so still some signs of holes, but rolled true. The course is actually quite interesting, a change from most of the courses in NW Phoenix that are pretty straight and boring. There are trees in the fairway on some holes. Fairways are in good shape. I just wouldn't waste the gas and time to drive out there if it weren't for GolfNow having such great deals! Played in 4 hours and there was a marshal out there. One negative is there was very little water to drink on the course and no beverage cart (for a noon tee time). Pro shop was friendly.
Scenic and enjoyable
A little overpriced the value. A comfortable small town feel, definitely not pretentious.
Wickenburg Links
No beverage cart and very little water buckets along the course. I know it was Friday but the course was busy. Staff seemed pre-occupied and not around. No ranger either - the couple I played with was slow and a friendly reminder to keep up the play would have helped make the round more enjoyable. Golf carts did not have GPS. Don't get me wrong, the course reminds me of one of my favorites - Rancho Manana in Cave Creek, AZ and could/should have scores a lot higher.
GREAT CONDITION.
WOULD BE NICE IF A BEVERAGE CART WAS AVAILABLE. OTHER THAN THAT A BEAUTIFUL COURSE IN GREAT CONDITION.
A bit overpriced
There a lot of courses around the Phoenix area that are a better bang for the buck. This course has a decent layout and it was in decent shape but I was expecting a quite a bit more for the price we paid. $4.50 for a can of beer is ridiculous. We never came across a single Ranger on the course. Our pace of play was good but if you got stuck behind some slow people it may become a headache with no one to push them along.
No cart service on a very warm day.
Was looking for a course away from Phoenix, but was very disappointed in the course the staff or lack of.The course was in good shape but the cost was way to high for the experience. It is a shame that I will remember the course for its beautiful bathroom!
Great experience!
This course played tough (for me), from the white tees. My poor play was offset by the beautiful scenery up at Wickenburg. The fairway grass was lush, as well as the rough. The fellow in the pro shop was relaxed, friendly and professional. Pace of play was excellent. We had a great day and already have another T time for Sunday.
great course
Had a great time. will go back again. Did not eat there for dinner. Golf attire not permitted in dining room. Only negative we had.
