Palm Course - McCormick Ranch Photo submitted by tainge on 03/29/2013
Great place to play!
Over all I thought the Pine course was in great shape. Fairways we're lush and greens were rolling. Can't ask for more especially during summer time.
I understand it is July however other courses in much better shape with lower green fees. No water provided in any fashion. Make sure you bring f your own if you decide to play.
Many greens were in horrible condition. Refreshments......?
Guesses that brought were very disappointed in the condition of many of the greens for these summer time rates $90.00.
Additionally, the day was very hot and only saw the drink cart girl one time the entire round. Made for a really long back 9.
Overall, disappointed for a perceived golf course of this stature.
Awful.
Wow. Hadn’t played here in a while but the conditions were just horrible. Got lost once because it’s not clear where to go for the next hole and no signs anywhere. Greens were bumpy and had patches of sand all over.
Fast pace of play. The tee boxes and greens were okay for this hot time of year. The fairways were browned out. There should be more than 1water cooler on the back 9 of the Palm Course, or at least have better signage for water.
So backed up its terrible
This course is backed up on every hole. No marshall and it might be a 5 1/2 round. Never play here again. $60 for the slowest round of crowded golf. Not worth it at all!
Awesome
The course was in great condition the staff was super nice I finished in about 3 hours definitely recommending guys go here before it gets too hot
10/10 would play it again
Loved the course and everything it has to offer. Beautiful course with plenty of hazards and difficulty that makes it so much more fun to play. I played the palms course and will be going back to play the pines.
A downward spiral
I have lived in Phoenix 20 years and have played this course more than 25 times. The course conditions have simply eroded into that of 2 star munis. At the same price point there are much better selections.
McCormack Pines
Fun course and sneaky challenging. Blue Tees very difficult.
Over paid for a 5 hr Rnd
The staff was friendly and the greens were in good shape. The course is in need of some updating. Must have had a bachelor party the day I played as the round took nearly 5 hrs to play.. over priced at $100
